Ch.2 Holy

Lukas and Tracey decided to search the burned down city for supplies. Lukas dug through trash and searched still standing buildings while Tracey roamed the streets.
As Tracey roams the streets she comes upon a small slightly burned book next to a corpse. Avoiding the corpse, she extended her arm and touched the book with the tips of her fingers. Her eyes went big and she freaked out as if she seen a ghost.
Lukas noticed this as he was digging through a dumpster.
"What is it Trace?" He asked.
"I seen her, she killed him when he held that up at her." She explained.
Confused, Lukas picked up the small book and scanned through the pages.
"Its a mini bible." Lukas said.
"Whats it about?" She asked.
Lukas giggled. "Its the most famous book in history, the Bible. Countless stories of God."
Tracey reached for it. Lukas looked at her for a moment and contemplated if he should give her it. "Please daddy? I know how to read! You taught me!"
"Alright.." He gave her the bible and her face lit up with joy. "YAY! Thanks daddy!"
"For the last time im not your dad.."
"Then who is?"
Silence filled the air. Lukas returned to a grim look on his face.
He walked away and continued to search through trash. A bit upset, Tracey ran off into a quiet corner to read her book. After an hour, Lukas peeked over at her reading and watched her for a few minutes.
   2 weeks earlier this city was being burned to the ground.
  Lucy threw the woman to the hard concrete and began to maniacally punch her left to right. The womans husband screamed at her. He kneeled down with his bible in hand. "BEGONE DEMON!" He yelled.
Lucy yanked the bible from his hand and held him down by the throat. "Im no demon, just human with power."
She used her strenght to shove the book through his skull. She pulled it back out and looked at the item she once praised. "Once the sin is wiped from the earth, youll be praised again." The bible began to burn. She threw it down quickly. "Lucy get your sweet ass over here right now!" Lucifer yelled.
"Coming sweety!"
   Lukas sat next to Tracey. "Do you understand it?" He asked.
"Yea a little bit." She answered.
Turning the page, Tracey gave that ghostly look again.
"What is it?" Lukas asked.
"Is this him?" She pointed to a verse in the bible.
"How does God like those humans?! All they do is disobey him!" Lucifer complained to another angel.
"They have free will and can do what ever without punishment!"
"Well what will you do about it?" The angel asked.
"A rebellion, against god! If we get enough angels who share the same opinion we could take over God!" Lucifer claimed.
"But what if we lose?" He asked.
"We wont lose, im the best angel in this kingdom!" Lycifer exclaimed.
As Lukas scavenged through trash, he found a pair of scissors. He walked over to a roofless house he looked through earlier. Entering the bathroom, he looked in the mirror. His hair had grown to his hips.
He held his hair up in a pony tail with his hand and cut through the thickness.
A pile of silver hair now lay on the bathroom floor.
   Lukas looked over at the verse Tracey pointed out. He nodded. "Yea, thats the devils story." He explained.
"So the devil use to be gods best angel?!" Tracey asked.
"Yup, after he started the rebellion, god sent him and all the angels who agreed with him to a realm he thought would be perfect for them." Lukas explained.
"So Lucifer wasnt always bad?" Tracey asked.
"Well, being an angel, it doesnt mean youre always good." Lukas patted her head.
Tracey and Lukas began to travel again leaving the ghost town behind.
"Lord, i can sense them on the move again." Zozo said to Lucifer.
"Then it's time for us to start moving to."
