The marriage rituals started... everybody was excited and happy coz we got jiju's shoes... Yipeee!

After hiding the shoes safely I was observing each and every ritual...

How 2 different people and 2 different families get bonded by this ritual of marriage... 1 day even I'll get married to someone... someone whom I'll call my better half, my husband, with whom I'll spend my life... a smile crept on my lips thinking about that day and I felt flowers showering on me... Wait... I am not dreaming... I'm actually getting showered with flower petals...

I looked by my side to find Randhir with the petals... as he saw me looking at him he smirked...

"What were you doing ?" I asked and he made an innocent face...

"The same what others are doing. " he said innocently pointing at others who were showering the would be couple with flowers...

"They are showering the petals on them. " I pointed at Mihika di and jiju... "Then why are you showering them on me?" I asked him and he smiled...

"They are doing that coz the couple are special for them tonight and I'm doing it coz you're special for me tonight. " he said grinning and my heart fluttered... Did I hear it right?

I was speechless after his statement... I'm special for him? I can't believe this! I'm gonna cry!

"Me... special?" I asked after a big pause...

"Yup,  you're special for me coz you're my new friend. " he said and I felt a bit disappointed but I can't show that...friend zoned.

"Okay" I said and looked back at the couple getting married...

"What happened ?" He asked coming in front of me blocking my view of the wedding...

"Randhir get aside,  I wanna see the wedding. " I demanded...

"I won't,  I've been watching you for long now,  you're constantly looking at them. Are you planning on sitting here for rest of the night? C'mon let's go somewhere. " My crush is asking me to come with him but I'm not feeling like going... Why is it so? May be your disappointed coz you are just a friend for him! May be !

"No Randhir,  I'll stay here only. You go with someone else. " I said and shifted from my place to get the view of wedding...

"Oh God Sanyukta,  what are you looking at?  Tell me. ?" He asked sitting beside me...

"Wedding, duh. " I stated like it's the most obvious thing in the world and trust me it is!

"Oh I didn't knew!" He said sarcastically and I just rolled my eyes...

"Even I know you're looking at the marriage function but what are you thinking? " He asked clearly now...

"Nothing " I lied... I don't want to tell him that I was thinking about my marriage... he'll make fun of me...

"Lier." he said throwing the flower petal on me which I didn't knew he was holding till now...

"Tell me Sanyukta pleaseeeeeeee" he whined like a kid and I chuckled...

"Okay but promise me you won't laugh at me" I said seriously and he nodded...

"Promise" he said and adjusted himself getting ready to listen to me...

"Actually I was thinking that someday even I'll get married like this... I'll get someone which whom I'll spend my whole life, someone whom I'll love more than I love myself, someone who'll be the most important person of my life, someone who'll be my better half. " I said honestly expecting him to burst into laughter but nothing happened like that... I looked at him to find him looking at me thinking something deep...

"Trying to control your laughter ?" I asked raising my eyebrows...

He just shook his head smiling at me...

"If I'll ask you something will you slap me?" He asked causing me to I chuckle...

"Why would I slap you ?" I asked smiling...

"Promise me that you won't. " he said and I nodded...

"Promise I won't. " I replied smiling and next what he said I couldn't believe my ears...

"Can I hug you?"
