16. Boy, He's Hot!

"So 1 day to go" Tanya chipped excitedly as soon as I entered the classroom. Sometimes I wonder how come she's always earlier than me at school? When does she reaches school ? And how come she's always this enthusiastic?

"Yeag 1 day to go" So after tomorrow I'll get to know who my secret admirer is. Though I badly want it to be my crush but I don't think it's him coz he never used to talk to me before and I don't think he ever noticed me before this trip. Just now we have started talking and if he is my secret admirer then Radhika must have known this and she must have already told me about this, so there is no chance of Randhir being my secret admirer. I agree that my life is a kind of cliché but not this much that my crush will turn out to be my secret admirer. I'm not that lucky.

"So who do you think he is?" Tanya asked pouting...

"I have no idea" I said keeping my bag on the desk. But if you ask me who do you want him to be, then surely my answer will be Randhir Singh Shekhawat, the only guy I'm crushing on since eight freaking years!

"Okay so let's guess, who he can be" Tanya said tapping her chin with her forefinger. Fine let's do it!

"Cool, so what do you think?" I asked her and she looked as if she was in some deep thought. C'mon tell me you think it's Randhir, please!

"Um, may be Rahul?" She said and I looked up at his direction. Rahul is a nice guy, we have talked for a couple of times but I don't think he likes me but he had a little crush on Radhika for a while which was crushed by Randhir and his friends 😜
Did I forgot to mention that Randhir is a very protective brother.

"Nah, he can't be" I replied shrugging.

"Okay, so Samar ?" She asked and I looked at Samar who was talking to one of his teammates. Samar is our school Cricket Teams caption and boy he's hot! I mean when he comes back from practice, all sweaty with his shirt off, drenching his face with water from his bottle, that's a sight to see and trust me I really don't mind if he is my secret admirer but the reality is he's too good to be that! He's a kind of guy every girl in the school fancy about. He's worth it! He has a physique which most of the guys don't have. Being the Captain he has maintained his image and body. And the best part is that he knows me. Yay he does! We have talked often and he's very nice. He has that charming smile which can make your day. Girls wait for him to start his practice coz when he runs in the field and excises, none can take their eyes off him and the best part, when he takes off his shirt, that's drool worthy and- wait stop it here Sanyukta!

"Earth to Sanyukta" I heard Tanya's voice and saw her smirking at me. Then she motioned me to look towards the field and I looked there to find Samar smiling at me. Oh My God! I didn't knew what to do so I just awkwardly smiled back. Was I staring at him for longer that necessary? Yes.
Dammit. Now he must be thinking of me as a creep. What have you done Sanyukta!

I then looked back at Tanya who was still smirking.

"What?" I asked annoyed of the fact that now Samar must be thinking of me as creep. I never wanted this. Mother earth swallow me up please.

"Don't tell me you secretly want Samar to be your secret admirer?" Tanya asked raising her one eye brow up. How she does that?

"No" I replied looking away. I half lied to her. I won't mind if it's him but I'll always prefer Randhir over him and that's for sure.

"Yeah if that helps you to sleep at night" she replied looking away.

"You seriously think Samar's thoughts will help me sleep at night?" I asked with a mischievous smirk and next second we both bursted into laughter.

"You didn't replied to my question, do you think it's him?" Tanya asked after laughing.

"Nope. He's too good for that" I replied casually and Tanya gave me a look which said 'are you serious?'

"Let it be Tanya. So who's next?" I asked changing that topic coz I know she was about to give me a full lecture on how I am underestimating myself and how that everyone here likes me and so on. You know sometimes these motivational speeches of your best friend are even longer than Maths period. You got what I mean right?

"Hmm, I think..." and the list went on and on. Soon our other friends joined us but still Tanya didn't stopped. She didn't left even a single boy except Parth and Sahil. She even took Randhir's name but Radhika started laughing and we all joined her so the topic didn't went on.

Today I saw Randhir twice but we couldn't talk as we both were with our friends and it would have been awkward.

After Tanya took all the names we started our fangirling, if that's even a word, for Samar. Did I mention that I'm not the only one to fantasize about Samar but ever girl does. Me, Tanya, Vidushi and Radhika were excitedly talking about the upcoming cricket match and how we are gonna cheer for our hero, Samar. And the poor boys were getting bored. When I told them how Samar smiled at me, the girls were hell jealous and the boys gave me the look which said 'why the f*ck are we even talking about this' and I just sweetly smiled at them and continued talking with the girls about the upcoming match.

"Sanyukta" I was busy blabbering when I heard this husky voice. I turned around to find him and my breath hitched in throat. What is he doing here?
