In November of 2015 I got sick. At first, it seemed normal. I was tired and my stomach hurt, just the flu. I would get better. It was two weeks until I went to school again.
For almost an entire year, I went through phases of not being able to eat, and fatigue. I started losing weight and at the worst, I was 86 pounds.
I went to my pediatrician often, and we did tests for allergies, gluten intolerance, and a billion other conditions. All of the tests came back negative.
In one year, I missed over a month of school. I was constantly tired and never hungry. I was skinny, frail, and physically weak.
These symptoms stared to go away in June of 2016. What replaced them was a terrible pain in my left eye.
