"Nice to meet you Adam"I said shaking his hand.
"Nice to meet you too Lia"he smiled.
I'm proud of my mother
I think she chose a wonderful man
I smiled at her making her relax a bit.
"Where is your boyfriend?"she whispered.
"He's supposed to be here"I said.
Ding Dong
I opened the door.
"Grayson"I said hugging him.
Grayson pecked my lips making my face turn red.
"I'm so glad you came"I said motioning him to come inside.
"Hey Mrs Martinez"he said.
Mum walked over to us.
"Hello you must be Grayslin right?"she said.
"Grayson mother"I corrected her.
"Nice to meet you now come dinner will be served soon"she said.

We sat at the table and I helped mum serve dinner.
She cooked a delicous lasagne.
"Wow this is delicious mum "Sara said.
We chatted about random things. Grayson kept mostly quiet while Jace he wasn't enjoying this too much. He was always uncomfortable near couples I don't know how he will ever find a girlfriend.
Sara kept talking about her football hobby and Adam promised that he will take her to a football match.
He sounds like a great guy.
After dinner was ready I helped mum with the dishes.
Gray walked over to me and kissed the back of my neck.
"Gorgeous I have to leave"he said.
I made a pouty face.
"Why ?"I asked.
"Mum texted. She said she wants me to come home"he replied.
I sighed.
"Than bye babe. See you tomorrow"I said pecking his cheeks.
"Bye Lia"he said and left.
Mum walked over to me and hugged me.
"Why did he leave?"she asked.
"His mum called. She needs him for something I don't know"I said.
"He seems like a great kid. You should invite his family over to dinner some time"she said.
It would be great. After all their mum is single too so she would get along with my mum.
"Thanks Lia "mum said.
"For what?"I asked.
"For accepting Adam"she said.
"Of course. Anything that makes you happy makes me happy"I smiled.
She kissed my forehead and went over to him.
I went up to my room and checked my phone

Lia - What Jess!!!! I'm so happy. We get to meet again
Jess - yes girlfriend. Wait until I come back. We can go shopping together and you can tell me all about your new boyfriend

I'm happy and sad.
I'm excited to see Jess but that means I get to see my dad probably.
The thing is Jess's mum is dating my father.
At first it was a lot to take in but Jess and I moved on.
We get along so well but seeing my dad again will make things awkward .
He will surely ask for me.
And I can't stand to know that my best friend is spending more time with my father than I am.
It sounds messed up but yeah that's my life.
He spoils her as she tells me her stories with him and I get a little jealous. I mean he's my father after all and he's treating her better than his own daughter!
I need to tell someone asap
