''We should look at the aerial drones.'' Suggested Alec with a restless step as they were back at the institute.

Now he was even more agitated than before. Why had she run ? What was she doing there first? Alec had seen her face, she had changed something. She seemed changed and he was honestly afraid of what was going on for his parabatai and Allison with Valentine.

"We've already done that." Reminded Isabelle as frustrated as her brother after their furtive encounter with Allison.

'' So we do it again. '' Alec retorted in impatience and frustration. '' Maybe we didn't look close enough. ''

'' Alec, I know you're upset, but this is just-''

"You don't know, Izzy." Alec interrupted her abruptly, stopping at the entrance of the corridor to catch his breath as he leaned over one of the walls in exhaustion.''''She was there. She was right before our eyes and she disappeared again. I need them.''

Izzy stared at him, lowering her eyes in understanding before solemnly nodding her head. "I know."

Alec shared a new look with his sister tired of hearing people share his concern that he only wanted to have only two people at his side. He and Jace had never been separated so long and it was really exhausting for him. As much physically as emotionally. As for Allison... it was different.

If for Jace, he felt as if it was impossible for him to breathe for Allison, he felt like his heart was constantly compressed. He just felt like he was falling apart without the two at his side.

'' Alec, Isabelle. '' Suddenly came the familiar voice of Jocelyn behind them forcing them to stop in their tracks to face the woman as she showed them the adamas stone. '' I have a way. ''

"How did you get that ?" Izzy exclaimed immediately in disbelief and mistrust as her gaze passed between the stone and the Fairchild woman. '' Only the Iron Sisters have access to adamas. ''

'' Luke's mother is an Iron Sister. '' Quickly explained Jocelyn seriously as she turned to Alec.''She told him about an ancient way to communicate through the parabatai bond. Through your linked spirits.''

"Oh, I see." Alec replied coldly in disbelief as he signed his chest with acrimony. '' So you want me to help you find my brother, so you can try and kill him again ? ''

He shook his head quickly before turning his heels just to take a break as Jocelyn followed him with a determined step.''I want to find Clary and Allison. Clary was kidnapped by Dot. Valentine must be behind this. I want to find my daughters."

"Why should we trust you?" Alec asked dryly, obviously having no regard for the woman in front of him.

'' Look, I know how much your brother means to you. Maybe even from Allison too. But my daughters want to mean so much to me." Sighing heavily Jocelyn in worry as she gave a look at the stone in her hand." And I will do anything to get them back. "

Izzy looked at Jocelyn in indecision before sighing in defeat as she turned into frustration at her brother. '' What other choice do we have ? ''

I soon landed again on the liner alongside Dot leaving me panting in shock before quickly turning around to watch the warlock in shock with wide eyes.'' Dot ? ''

'' Ally. '' Recognized the brunette woman finally letting me get a full view of her face now dotted with pulsating black veins of red energy.

I kept growing my eyes this time and immediately took a step towards her in anxiety. ''Thought you were dead. What happened to you? It's Valentine, isn't it ? ''
