Geez people.. This book is not even that exciting--It was literally only one chapter and people are demanding for updates. Hahaha. Anyways, sprained my finger so typing updates has became an excruciatingly slow process.

Anyways have an update

Anyways have an update. Apparently this is a good story-- I have my doubts, but whatever floats your boat fans. Whatever. Floats. Your. Boat.

"I should have figured Bruce Wayne worked for the Bat." Nightshade shook his head and gave a small shrug as he jumped onto a storage crate on one of the docks of Gotham" What I do not understand is why you are here?" after his situation at the university, Dick had gone to the Docks. After all, aquatic moss comes from the sea, it did not take a plant genius to know that. But what he did not understand, is why not one, but a kid was fighting a crime that Batman should be doing. Batman was a loner.. Fighting against him multiple times had taught him that. So the kid was obviously doing this behind his back. Nightshade focused on their clothing, demeanor, fighting style-- Atlantean, there was no doubt. But it was not the Aquaman... so that must be his protege he was staring at, bleeding all over the wet paneled wood of the docks. "I am surprised you fought them all off in that state." He jumped down, his feet hardly making a sound when they landed to the ground.

"Deadly Nightshade..." The Atlantean spat " Were you in on this?!"

Dick paused, trying to figure out why he decided to make himself known, why he did not go for the kill. "Well, I did come down for a reason-- The trade was for bio weapons as you know."

"So you wanted them for yourself." It was not a question, the Atlantean tried to stand up in a fighting position, but the bullet wound in his side refrained him from doing so.

"So quick to judge. For your information, I came to destroy it." That response was returned with a look of surprise and a hint of suspicion." That weapon would wipe out most of the vegetation in Gotham. Do you really think that Poison Ivy or I would allow that to be set off?"

The Atlantean paused. "I...I did not consider that."

"Of course you didn't." Dick scoffed and kneeled down, grabbing a vial from his jacket pocket. "After I am finished with you, I will finish what I came to do, since Batman failed to show up at a timely manner.,, Or his accomplice Bruce Wayne."

A questioning glance at the comment was replaced with one of horror as The atlantean's eyes caught a glimpse of the vial. DEadly Nightshade was known for poisoning his victims, most of the toxins distributed could kill before even help arrives. "You do not have to do this."

"You're Right. I don't." Nightshade scowled, holding up the vial. "Though I am surprised you are questioning it, considering that you are the one benefiting from it." he moved closer but the tan-skinned teen moved as best as he could to move away in defence, causing the other to get frustrated. "If I wanted to poison you I would have chosen an airborne based Toxin. Or just let you bleed out." He set the vial down and grabbed a knife. "But since you 'heroes' never take a good deed without suspicion..." He rolled up his sleeve.

Aqualad eyed the knife, not understanding what was unfolding. "What are you doin--"

" Not all plants have killing properties." Nightshade ran the knife down his arm in a thin narrow cut, blood now trickling from the wound. He then grabbed the vial and spilled some of the contents on the would. "It is a plant based masking liquid. It mocks the properties of blood coagulation. Lamely speaking..." He held up his arm with a grin " It is a liquid plant bandage." He moved close and pulled the other's hand away from the wound. "Now hold still and let me patch you up. It grazed you so I don't have to remove a bullet." He poured it over the Atlantean's wound, watching the dark green goo bubble for a brief moment before setting and drying.

" I do not understand.."

"You don't have to. Do not get this situation wrong." Nightshade warned coldly. "I did NOT do this out of the kindness of my heart. An enemy of my Enemy is a friend... until they cross paths again with a different situation." He sat back and crossed his arms. "Besides I have questions needed to be answered, and you bleeding to death would be proven anti productive."

"I am grateful for you saving my life, but what makes you think I will answer your questions, my 'friend'?" Aqualad gave a stern look.

"It is not particularly hard questions. I know you came here to do some fish business that left your waters and moved to Gotham. The moss came from you-- well not specifically you..but the weapon. What I do not understand is why would you do it behind the back of Batman, what? Don't trust him to finish the job that slipped between your king's fingers?"

Aqualad's hands clenched into fists. "Do not insult my King."

"Oh, struck a nerve." Nightshade rose his hands in surrender, a small smirk on his face. "Now you know how I feel for you automatically assuming I was going to kill you." Nightshade let out a slight laugh.

"You are not like the rest of the villains out there..are you?"

"Neither of us are. Ivy and I are just like you after all. Only instead of humans--we fight for plants." Nightshade smiled softly as the thought of his saviour crossed his mind. "We fight for what we believe in."

"You break the laws." The atlantean countered.

"Heh..and what do you do exactly? Last time I checked, your vigilante 'justice' is as much in the wrong as ours. Rather hypocritical, of you." Dick stood up, glaring down at the older teen. "As I see it, you, your king, the Batman... All of you are just bullies trying to shove down their ideals of justice down other's throat. Sure..we do some pretty immoral things..but we do not use the fact we have a mask or a cape as an excuse to hide that fact. We admit it openly and for that we are shunned and labeled as 'villains'." Dick saw a shadow out of the corner of his eye and growled. "I wasted enough of my time talking-- It seems we have a late guest." He snorts in distaste "I will leave the weapon to you, Bat. But mark my words, If you or you Justice league pests let such an ample error happen again, be sure that both Ivy and I will take matters into our own hands." He glanced at the Atlantean one more time. "Remember, plants may have useful properties... But they also can have lethal ones. Best of luck explaining this to the Bat. Im sure he would love to hear the whole story of how you thought you were strong enough to fight crime in his city behind his back, get owned, and then rescued by a 'Villain'." HE gave a thumbs up and made a break for it and leaving Aqualad to his real demise-- The Batman.
