CHICAGO, ILLINOIS
JUNE 24TH, 2006IN AN operating room, Leo was strapped to an operating table. He tilted his head side to side, darting in every direction as he panted. After seeing every machine and screen monitor in the room, his arms were the last thing he noticed.
He couldnt see it at first, since a curved, thin, black plate divided his shoulders and arms from each other, and pressed down hard on them, like they were trying to cut off the circulation in his arms. Leo lifted his head up as high as it could go, only to see a horrific image. His arms were a greyish-purple color, and his fingers were curled up like vines.
Goosebumps raced over Leos skin, and beads of sweat hung high over his eyebrows. "Oh Lord."
"His arms are ready to be disconnected." A woman informed.
Leo looked straight forward, only to see nurses and doctors running to him. All of them wore their surgical masks and gloves, prepared to start a long process.
One doctor raised his eyebrows, standing by his bedside. "He's awake!"
"What did you do to me?!" Leo demanded.
"Get him down! Now!" Another doctor held him down with two other nurses as Leo squirmed everything but his arms around.
"Get off of me! I can't feel my arms!"
"Here we go." A nurse pulled out a long, broad syringe needle with blue liquid out from his coat pocket.
"No!" Leo yelled. "Where's my family?!"
It was too late. The nurse jabbed the needle in Leos neck, causing Leo to cry out in pain. Everything was fading to black, till Leo couldn't see anything anymore.
