Just then I woke up. Awe man. I got up from bed and checked my phone. It was 6:50!! The bus comes at 7:04! I have to get dressed fast! I threw on a blue shirt and ripped jeans. I put on my shoes and brushed my teeth and hair. I got done 2 minutes before I had to go. I sat there in relief. I felt my phone buzz. It was from Kate "Hey girl! You coming over or nah?" she texted me. "Oh shoot yea sorry be over in a sec!" I replied. I remembered about my abusive mom. She was home today but asleep. I looked at the cuts on my arms, what she did to me. I put my sleeves down to cover them. Kate has her brothers home now, and I see them all the time. But, their popular in our school so I don't really talk with them anywhere. I got up from my chair and went over to Katelyn's house. I knocked at her door and she answered but then the bus came. "Come on Kate! he bus is here." I told her. Just then I remembered her brothers started riding today. Great! One of them bullies me at school while the other is standing behind. Marcus comes out and pushes me "Oops sorry I didn't see you there. Your too small to be seen." he said and laughs. I've known Mac for so long, and he does this to me this year. Ugh boys. Martinus came out and looked directly into my eyes. It felt like time stopped completely. He doesn't know how I feel about him, I hope. He smiled at me and I completely died on the inside. Then Kate came out "Hey! Lets go!" she said pulling my arm which by the way was aching really bad. We ran to the bus and Kate sat in the seat behind me. She has been dating this guy names Cole? I don't know much about him but he doesn't look like good news to me. Martinus could find a seat anywhere but I was all alone so he sat by me. And oh man was I exited.

Martinus pov// I hope she realizes I like her. I don't want to ruin Kate and her friendship so I'm going to stay out of it. All these girls pull on my shirt and its so hard to walk with them all over me. I love them but man their crazy. I saw that Paige had a empty seat so I sat by her. "Hey Paige!" I said trying to act cool and stuff "Uhhh h-hi Martinus?" she said. I could tell she was like *um what are doing in my seat(not the mean way)* I smiled at her. She smiled back and I could feel my heart racing. "Martinus why are you sitting with her?!" my girlfriend called to me. She is so rude to me. "Sorry babe I couldn't find anywhere else!" I yelled back to her. She rolled her eyes at me. I turned to Paige, she looked like she was upset "Paige, she and I have been together for a while. I honestly don't know why I'm even with her still." I said to her. She smiled and put her hand on my leg "Martinus that's not what I'm upset about..."she said quietly. She pulled her sleeve up, and she had a lot of cuts!! "Paige wha- what happened!!??" I asked her carefully taking her arm and looking at it. "Ummm its nothing. I-I did this to me..." she said but I could tell she was lying.
