In Tokyo, Japan 16 year old Ganta Takashi is a lazy, C+ student, who quits everything he starts. But that all ends when he is Introduced to a new virtual video game know as Brave Burst. This game scans your body and mind to create your special monster called a unit. When Ganta receives his unit he is rather disappointed, but he will soon find out that teaming up with this creature will shock the world and possibly even save it.
