Jensen, and I walked in, then my parents walked in after us. I handed the Tachyon beam to McRider kindly. "Here it is, Sir." Then I remembered the snippet I found in the lab too and duh it out of my pocket. "I also found this." I said curiously and handed it to McRider. He took it and frowned quickly to himself. Then smiled at me, and then looked at everyone else. "I'll look into it. Thank you Ms. Bristow." He smiled and asked to speak to my parents alone. Jensen and I nodded and left the bank together. My parents were walking to McRider's office when I
looked back. I continued walking with Jensen. "We still have some time to kill before we hit the sacks. Do want to get some coffee with me?" Jensen asked after he stopped at the door. I stopped in front of him and smile. "That sounds great. The punch there was terrible!" I laughed, and Jensen agreed and laughed with me, taking my hand and leading me to his car with him. We walked to a black impala that he managed to take care of for his whole life, and I got into the passenger seat. He got in the driver's seat and stuck the key into the hole. Then we drove off.

"Yes, Sir?" My mother asked McRider, sitting down in front of his desk with my father. "Do you suppose you could stay around for a little longer? I plan on needing your help again soon." McRider said curiously and looked at both of them, elbows propped on his desk top. "Of course. May we ask what we can help with?" My father asked politely, curiosity was visible in his voice. My parents and McRider talked for awhile in his office.

I got out of the car with Jensen after we got to a small diner. Jensen opened the door for me, and I smiled and walked in. I found a seat near a window and sat down in the booth. Jensen walked in next and sat down across from me. We both ordered some coffee when the waiter came to take our order, then walked quickly away with our order. I laid my hands, in a crossed position, on the table. "So how do you think that mission went?" Jensen asked me. I nodded and smiled "I think it went pretty well. It was nice seeing my parents get involved in it again!" I replied, smiling a little. “Yeah, talk about a surprise!” Jensen smiled. “So how old do you think that newspaper snippet is anyway?” I frowned a little, then answered with a shake of my head. “Considering he has been gone for eighteen years, I’d say eighteen years.” Jensen nods in agreement. “I wonder why those people would keep an old snippet of your grandfather though. It seems...”
“Odd? Suspicious?”
“Exactly.” I nodded, and took a big drink of my coffee. Jensen did too. After we talked about other things, like emotionally how I was doing, and how he could help, we both paid for our coffee, and went back to his car. He offered to take me home, and I agreed. We both get into the car, and he drove off.

Jensen stopped the car in my driveway, then kisses me goodbye. “Don’t be too hard on yourself, okay? It wasn’t your fault he died.” Jensen said to me after I’m out of the car. I frowned and nodded, then closed the car door and walked inside to my house. Once I went in and closed the front door behind me, I watched Jensen drive off from the window, then went to lay on the couch and sighed. I was so stressed. With my brother dying, with my grandfather’s newspaper snippet, with the Tachyon beam, How am I supposed to relax?! I sighed and went upstairs to my bedroom to take a nap. I turned off the light and laid on my bed, resting my phone on my nightstand before laying back down and closing my eyes and I fell asleep peacefully.
