Three hours go by before I heard the door open. I dreamt about my brother. He laid on the hospital bed, lifeless but peaceful. It was painful to see him so quiet. The next thing I knew, doctors and nurses were rushing in his room and shooed everyone else out. I stood outside the room crying harshly in Jensen's chest as he held me in his arms. The doctor came out and shook his head with a deep frown. We all looked at him, then my mom and I cried into my dad's chest and Jensen's chests more.
I woke up with a jerk of my head springing up from my pillow. Jensen stood on the left side of my bed. "Bella, are you okay?" He looked at me with a concerned look. I breathed heavily. He sat down next to me and pulled me into his arms, and hugged me. I hugged back tightly. We stayed there for long minutes, until I was calm and relax. He pulled me back and held onto my shoulders softly. "I had a dream about....Jack..." I gulped, trying to keep myself together. He hugged me again before he took my hand and started walking to his car with me. I got in and closed the door. He got in and closed the door before starting the car and driving off. "What's going on?" I finally asked. "McRider needs us. He said it was urgent."
I frowned. This couldn't be good. We got to the bank and both got out. We walked in and into the elevator. A red light flashed around the room before the doors opened and we both walked in together. Hand in hand. "Good, you're here." McRider said, looking at us as we walked into the conference room. We sat down next to each other. "Someone stole the Egyptian beacon. We think we know who took it, but we don't know. We need you two," He pointed to Jensen and I. "to find out who took it. Sydney, Michael, you'll be tracking down something else. Everyone leaves tomorrow afternoon. Taren, Mitchell, you'll be covering the security tapes and cameras." Jensen and I nodded. We went to get everything ready with the rest of the crew.
"Oh, and you two will be taking part in a musical. Keep your cover clear and secured. I'll give you the cards tomorrow morning." McRider added before standing up and walking to the door. "Dismissed." He said, then opened the door and walked off. Everyone filed out one by one. Jensen finished his conversation once I walked out of the conference room last. I closed the door behind me and walked over to him. "We'll keep the microphones on vibrate, but you'll still have to use your mouth to talk. Sorry, Jensen." Mitchell apologized. "Okay, that's fine." Jensen smiled and Mitchell smiled back before walking away. "What was that about?" I asked Jensen, while I looked to where Mitchell was walking. "I was wondering if there was a way to talk to them using telepathy, so we wouldn't become suspicious during our mission."
"Oh. I bet it will be fine."I patted his shoulder and walked over to my mom and talk to her.
"Mom, I can't do this! I don't know how to act! Much less sing!"
"Of course you can sing! Remember all the talent shows you had in elementary school?"
"That was years ago!"
"Don't worry, you'll remember when you get there. As for acting, think of the plays you made up with Jack as kids!" My heart started to beat faster at the mention of my brother's name, and I could tell my mother caught what she said, because I saw a slight frown start to form on her mouth before she smiled brightly again. I sighed. “Okay, I-I’ll try...” With that, I went to go find Jensen since he was my ride here. I found him near the parking gate, hanging up his phone when I arrived.
“Who was that?”
“Remember the officers we saw at the diner a few days ago?” I nodded. “They found some things related to someone they think we know, and want us to go check it out.” Right, the mysterious break in, that apparently, nobody knew about, even the workers! I nodded in agreement and we got in the car. Later, we got out at a police office and went into the building, finding Agent Delaware and his partner Agent Collins near a door. They saw us and gestured for us to follow them in a room. We looked at each other, shrugged, and follow them. Agent Delaware closed the door behind Jensen then sat down next to Agent Collins, who sat across from Jensen and I. Agent Collins put down a white ziploc bag on the table. It was filled with a dirty brown substance. “Do you know anyone who has brown hair?” Agent Delaware asked us cautiously. I smirked and looked at everyone with brown hair in the room, counting out my ginger hair. “Yes, I’m in a room with them now!” Jensen chuckled, but Delaware and Collins didn’t crack the slightest smile. I cleared my throat and muttered, “...Sorry” They looked at us sternly. “Other than us.”
“Um. My parents do, and my grandfather did.”
“Can we have your parent’s name, and your grandfather’s?” Minnesota asked politely and calmly. “My grandfather is dead.” I told them as they wrote down my parent’s names on a notepad. “Oh.” Delaware nodded. “Thank you, ma’am.” Delaware stood up and opened the door. He nodded towards both of us, with Collins, as we left the room and went back to Jensen’s car. We got in and strapped in. Jensen started the engine and drove off. “Coffee?” He glanced over at me. I knew for a fact he knew the answer, but I answered anyway. “Coffee!” I smiled brightly. We drove to Starbuck's and both got out. He opened the door for me, and I went in and waited for him before we ordered coffee at the counter. I decided to get a iced coffee and told the cashier to put Fred on the cup. I snickered lowly as I found a small table in the back of the café. Jensen ordered his coffee and sat across from me, smiling with a hidden smirk plastered in his smile. "Do you think anyone will notice?""I know for a fact that Fred is dead." I nodded and smiled. He smiled too, then chuckled. "I asked them to put Voldemort on mine." I chuckled too. "I know he's dead also." The cashier called the names, and I saw people around us look around. One girl was really shocked at the names and jumped. I giggled as we got up to get our drinks. "You're not Fred." Said the cashier. "I'm going to tell you a secret." I gestured for the cashier to come closer as I whispered in his ear. "I came back as a girl." He chuckled and nodded before going to serve the next customers who were waiting. We grabbed our coffee and sat back down. "I saw people notice our names." Jensen said after we sat down. "Mhm!" I smiled and took a drink of my coffee. "Mm, this is delicious!" I gasp surprisingly and drank more. Jensen laughed at me and drank his own coffee. We talked as we drank our delicious coffee, then the windows started getting unusually darker. I noticed when I looked outside. I patted Jensen's hand to get his attention, but he misunderstood me and held my hand instead. "Jensen, look at the windows." I sighed. He looked at the windows and sighed as well. "We never get one minute of peace, do we?!"
