the shade of an emerald
or even darker
the color of eyes
with small specs of gold
the summer leaves
on summer trees
that are crisp with so much life,
beautiful.

like a whisper that
sends chills down your spine
like the blurs you see
out your window while driving
like the puny stem
holding up a rose
with such delicate and soft petals,
lovely.

i am merely green
it is confidence
and cunningness
it is desire
and determination
it is bold
and bewitching
as if you cannot look away from it,
stunning.
