Now I'm here, wherever here is. I need to decide whether or not I should take the risk of going to the past of future. To be completely honest with you, I don't want to choose either one. I ask Samuel, "Hey new friend. Is it okay if I come back tomorrow to decide my fate.?" "Umm... I don't know the answer. Wait a second." He dug up a binder from a cardboard box. He finally answered, "Sorry new friend coming back the next day is breaking the rules. I have an important job to do and you can't just come in here to break the rules of the law. I can't let you come back. This is your chance. Make a choice sooner or later because the later in going to be spent in this room." He replied very annoyed.

"What would you choose if you had a choice?" I said with a soft voice. "Do you really think that I haven't thought of the question before? In my opinion, I think that is better to go to the past to help your present-self by fixing silly and stupid mistakes."

I don't know what to do! I'd love to see the future, but the guard who knows most about this stuff thinks that the past is better. Oh why does my life have to get so complicated so easily? "Can I go into the past and stop myself from coming here?" I asked. "Many people tried that but failed to do so." He answered. "That's sounds like an adventure that I don't want to do. How long do I have to stay in either of these places in time?" "I don't know. I've never been. I was told that when you come out you go back to the human world and live your life how your life plays out from the fixes you made in the portal." "That's cool. How come you never went in either portal before?" I said. "Well I was the first one to ever come here, but the mistress needed a keeper or guard or something a long those lines. So she happened to pick me since I came first and acted like I was begging for it."He told me with a small evil grin in his face. I'm sorry, but can't you just go in. The portals are standing right behind you." "I tried. I learned that before you enter, the mistress teleports you to her throne room and talks with you to see if your are worthy. If your not you get sent to the human world without a clue about what happened. You memories of this place are gone. You can't come back here ever again. Unless..." "Unless what?" I asked. "Umm that's a story for another day. The mistress can answer that one. For now since your stuck here, I will take you the the service room where you will sit quietly until you decide your true destiny." He walked me through a dark tunnel. We ended up in a office like room. He told me to sit in this room until I truly decided which portal to take. The room looked boring. I saw four other people sitting here. One family of a mother and son, and old man who fell asleep, and a scary bear who stared into my eyes. I was very creeped out. I just sat there until a random bell rang and my name was announced.
