Jaebum was yours. Or at least that is what you had always thought. Since the moment you moved to Korea when you were seven, Jaebum had been there. His hands had always grasped yours and his smile had always been only for you. At least, that was the plan.

Then he became and idol and the world stopped. The moment he called you to share the news, you knew he would disappear into the pixels of your computer screen forever. That was...unfortunately...the plan.

Then the phone rang.

"Hello?" You answered the unknown number with a decent amount of hesitation. You usually ignored those calls but something in you decided to answer.

"Y/n? Are you busy? I haven't spoken to you in years! How are you?" The voice responded. You seemed a bit shaken that the stranger talked so familiarly, that he knew your name!

"Um? I'm sorry. Who is this?"

"Oh..." the voiced paused. You thought you could feel the sadness from the telephone. "I guess I couldn't expect you to know immediately. It's Jaebum. Remember? Little guy that used to be obsessed with you?"

You froze. Obsessed? What?

"Excuse me?" You retorted, not believing what he had said, "i'm sorry. Is this a joke? It's not funny. He wouldn't even have my number. We haven't kept in touch."

You were about to hang up the phone when he began to sing. Frozen, you listened as he stopped the song abruptly.

"Do you believe me now? Gosh, y/n. I'm hurt." He laughed at the silence that followed.

"Jaebum?! OH MY GOD! You jerk! Why haven't you contacted me?! I thought you had forgotten about me! And what is this about obsession?"

He laughed again, ignoring the last question.

"Do you want to meet up? Maybe I can come there? Or we can go incognito somewhere? Tonight?" He asked.

You nodded, forgetting he couldn't actually see you doing that. "Oh uh...yes yes! Call me when you have a time! No...text me!"

"Ok y/n. I'll called later. Goodbye."

You gasped. You hadn't realized you were holding your breath.
