That night Dom, Liam and Jo are at the table eating when V come into the house with Benjamin and Olivia.
V: updates?
Dom: I went with Jen to an ultrasound this morning, im gonna talk to Mel soon and I'm still failing
Liam: I bought Chinese
Jo: (feeling accomplished) I didn't hit anyone today and 3 people really needed to be slapped... with my fist... serval times... in their face!
V: (looking down at the twins) go wash your hands... (And goes and sits at the table) we have to talk
Jo: what happened now?
V: well Ma's birthday is tomorrow and I think we should do something different
Liam: like what?
V: let's say we don't go away Friday
Dom, Liam and Jo begin to argue over each other
V: hear me out
Liam: no! We always go away for ma's birthday
V: I know!
Jo: we've been doing this ever since she died Vanessa, we can't change tradition
V: (looking at her little sister) I don't want to change tradition
Dom: so then what are you doing?
V: I want to postpone it
Liam: sounds a lot like change
V: ok so every year we went out of town did something for the weekend... I say we push it back a month
Dom: why?
V: *stop interrupting* because yall liked to skip school, and jo has a lot of doctor appointments so if we leave a day before Christmas eve and comeback a day or two after new year's your winter break isn't spent in this house but somewhere with warm weather bonus you don't come back to missed test
Liam: what made you come up with this?
Dom: the real reason
V: I took on extra clients
Jo: why?
V: we need the money
Dom: since when?
V: since I decided that we should move
Liam: why the fuck are you making these changes
V: I just think that we should think about it....
Jo: (trying to hide her fear) do you know where we are going???
V: I was thinking Florida
Dom: why?
V: well I want to take the twins to Disney world, I know you two can find trouble anywhere you go and JoJo I know you love the beach and basically any hotel
Liam: so it's just gonna be us this year?
V: well Kat and Trev gonna want to come and yall can invite people if you want
Dom: Mel might come
V: I don't want ANY drama ...
Dom: there won't be
Ben: (running into the kitchen) ma can I have cereal
V: no, but you can have whatever Liam got for dinner
Ben: is it cereal?
V: yup, but it looks like rice and chicken
