~Poppy's POV~
"Dad, don't leave me..." I whispered.
King Peppy took a deep breath but it was shaky and bad. "I'm sorry Poppy, I've tried. I will always be with you." He whispered.
I grew sad and cried quietly. I saw my dad dying. His breathing stopped and I froze.
"Dad.." I said quietly and I looked at the floor. My color disappeared. I was grey and sad. I walked out of my dad's house and went outside. Everyone including Branch saw that I was grey.
I climbed into the Mushroom and looked at everyone. "My father....has passed away..." Poppy said sadly as her voice trembled.
