Poppy looked at her fellow trolls. Before she knew it all of them turned gray except for Branch.
Branch watched in shock, once all of them turned gray Branch gritted his teeth. 'What to do....what to do...' he thought. Then finally he remembered, the song that Poppy and him sung before, True colors.
He held his breath and walked over to her.
"You with the sad eyes" he sang
Every troll looked around and then looked at Branch.
"Don't be discouraged.." He sang as he walked over to her.
Poppy glanced up him and slowly looked away.
He sat down next to her and gently made her face him again.
She turned away again.
"Oh I realize, It's hard to take courage. You can lose sight of it all, the darkness inside you can make you feel so small"
He held both of her hands and stood up slowly.
Show me a smile then, don't be unhappy. Can't remember when, I last saw you laughing" he sang as she walked away and her side faced him.
"This world makes you crazy.." he sang and slid on his n]knees and smiled. She slightly smiled as well. And you've taken all you can bear. Just, call me up, 'cause I will always be there" He hugged her. He didn't need to sing the rest and her colors glowed and came back. Everyone was hugging each other happily and had their colors back as well.
Branch lightly kissed her forehead. 'her father and I have talked. I will protect her well' he thought with his eyes closed, they all still hugged.
