Solangelo One-Shots

Pocahontas AU

A/N- I watched Pocahontas a few days ago and I thought of solangelo right in the beginning... I imagined it through the whole movie... [if you request an au I will try to write it so please comment]

    "Finally I'm here!" Yelled a boy. His hair was flowing golden like the bright yellow sun and his eyes matched the sky. It had been a treacherous trip to get here, but finally, he made it.

    "So much land to discover..." his curiosity started bubbling as he jumped off the ship before it docked. 

    "WILL SOLACE WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!" Yelled the boy's father Apollo.

    "I'm going to explore! Don't worry father I'll be back!" Will told Apollo. 

     The older man chuckled "What will I do with you?" He turned to the ship then watched as his son ran farther into the thick forest. 

    "I hope you stay safe my son" Apollo whispered to himself as he began undocking the ship.

   Will ran deeper into the great woods. He saw many things he'd never seen before. He played with a creature with a ringed tail trying to steal his cranberries. He got in a bit of a fight with a humming bird and even touched a small bear. He called it Grizzly and it now followed him after what seemed like an argument with a much more terrifying bear, it's mother he guessed. Boy we're mothers scary. He decided he'd head back which was a wonderful idea at first. Now, it turned into a nightmare.
    Will remembered cleansing his face when he saw a person in the reflection. A savage. After he thought the savage disappeared he ran behind a waterfall. He watched through the water as the savage stood where he'd just been. This was just great. He was going to die on his first day! He pulled out his knife from his boot and braced himself. 

    "AAAHH!" He yelled and ran towards the figure. He almost cut the savage but the person was too fast. It dodged him then stole his knife. The monster threw it far down the river where Will would never see it again.

    Will stepped back and took a look at the figure. It was a short, thin boy with dark hair and eyes. The boys skin was a pasty white with patches that looked almost sickly green. The boy wore a dark shirt made with bear skin and grey pants that matched the skin of what seemed to be a seal. To most people the sight would be terrifying but to Will, it was the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen. This was a savage? The great Hades' tribe that destroyed the people of Persephone? The people that many of his people- the people of light, descendants of his father Apollo feared? Many questions filled his head as he stared at the boy.
    "You speak? No?" The savage told him poking him in the chest. 

    "Yes, I speak" Will replied quickly. 

    "Name is Nico, son of chief Hades" the savage bowed gentlemanly. 

    "I never saw such a man like you. Pretty hair. Looks like painful star thing.

    "The pale 'boy? Will had wondered' stated. 

   "Yes and the star thing is the sun. I'm Will, child of Apollo." Will told the short boy. 

   "First time I saw someone other than my people... the shadows tell me to befriend Will" the boy put on a beautiful smile that captivated the Apollo child.

   "Have you ever seen the colours a shadow holds?" With one sentence, Will's heart was stolen.
