Nico's PoV

I walked through my favorite comic book store. I was coming here for the huge sale before they closed. I opened the door to find books, cards, and figurines of mythomagic characters. I walked around looking at different figures. "Nico! Nice to see ya! I knew you wouldn't miss the closing of this amazing store!" A guy with short blonde hair and dark blue eyes said. "Hey Apollo. Do you have anything below fifteen dollars?" I asked. "Well you can get rid of that scary Hades  keychain and get an Apollo one instead. It's only four dollars now!" Apollo stated. "I'd rather keep the Hades one..." I replied. "How come?" He asked starting to sound sad yet curious. "My sister gave it to me before she died." I mumbled. "Oh I understand. Sorry for intruding. " Apollo stated. " I can give you the rest of our mythomagic 3000 edition cards for five dollars though." Apollo offered. "DEAL" I quickly yelled. "WILL COME GET THIS LIL CHILD SOME MYTHOMAGIC CARDS!" I heard Apollo yell. A boy who almost looked exactly like Apollo came out except he had longer shaggier hair. "Nico this is my...son,Will. Will this is my favorite customer and the child I want to adopt except his dad'll kill me Nico." After that short introduction Apollo left to go help his daughter Lauren (the only one I knew) clean up the Deadpool comics. "As you already know I'm Will. What cards are you looking for?" He flashed a small smile that captivated my heart. "I'm looking for  mythomagic cards from the 3000 edition." I said dreamily. "Right this way." Will started walking away like a train conductor. I quickly tried to match his pace but his legs were MUCH longer then mine and I had to nearly run to keep up. I was really short okay!? After getting to the back collection I found the set of cards I needed. "So Nico what do you do as a job?" Will asked trying to start a conversation. "I work as a commission artist." I replied. "Oh cool! Do you have a tumblr or something?" He asked. "Yes it's (random Tumblr name)"I replied while turning to look up at him. "Well I guess I'll have to check you out some time." He said before grabbing my hand and writing a number in sharpie on it. "Don't ask." He said making a beautiful smile that stabbed my heart out. "Okay then." After checking out I finally left. 'Oh gods that was awkward.' I thought to myself. I turned to see Will walk in the opposite direction towards the bathroom. "I'll probably never see that guy again. Time to get over him." I pulled down my arm sleeve so the number was hidden then I pulled my skull hood over my head. I'll probably just stop by McDonalds then go home.
I walked down the mall strip to finally get to McDonalds. After ordering I sat in the back booth and ate silently. I watched as people walked by. I heard a noise so I looked over a bit. A girl about Will's height with...Will's hair color and length.. and Will's eyes sat in front of me. "Hello Nico I'm Willow!" I jumped back a
bit. She was wearing a Jack skeleton dress with her hair brushed over on one side. She had on perfect winged eyeliner. I wanted her to teach me how to do eyeliner honestly. "Willow? How do you know my name?" I asked. Something was wrong with this painting. "Eh? You don't know me? We just met!" I looked at her. "You're Will? Like Will Solace? Apollo's son?" I asked. "Apollo's daughter currently. I'm genderfluid. I'm sorry that I just met you and I'm already showing you this but..." she stopped herself for a tick. "...but I really liked you from the get go and I want to.. see you again.?" She stated that more as a question but I got the just of it. "I really liked you from the beginning honestly but this new side of you is kinda shocking I guess." I mumbled the last part. "But I think I could get used to it after
a while." I said smiling at her. Her saddened face brightened up. "Okay then let's start off as friends and see what happens okay!" She smiled happily. That same smile captivated me through both sides of her.
"Yeah...friends." I smiled.
