A/N Amazing choice alert! Like seriously this song is perfect for matching the chapter so you might want play it mate ;) Cheers.
He opened the door to his car for me. I've been in London for 5 years now and I'm still not used to the cars being opposite of the way we have them in America.
"And they say chivalry is dead."
"Not in my book." He says closing my car door then jotting round to his.
"Well thank you Jonny." I say as he plunks down in his seat.
"You're quite welcome. You did a really great job playing tonight. I was really impressed by that riff in that last song."
"Oh my gosh thanks Jonny! I was so surprised when I saw you walk in. I nearly jumped out of my skin. Well actually I ended up missing a chord when I saw you."
"Oh I'm sorry. I know I was supposed to pick you up here after service but I really was curious to see you perform."
"Don't be sorry I was and am happy you came."
"I'm glad I came too. The whole church thing was nice and it was great seeing you there playing and stuff. So shall we get on to our date?"
"Yes! I'm so excited. Where are we going and please tell me there's food involved?!?"
*laughs "Don't worry my mum said never leave a lady hungry or waiting and I try not to do either."
"Your mom has taught you well Jonathan."
"Haha thanks. Tonight I thought we could go to this really cool jazz and poetry cafe for dinner. How does that sound to you?"
"That sounds really fun!"
"Great! Oh hey I got you these." He says while handing me a bouquet of the most beautiful blue, green, purple, white flowers. "I arranged them myself. If it's ok with you I'd like to have this in the shop and call it "The Ever Arrangement" after you? You inspired it."
"Wow Jonny that's so amazing! I would be honored for you to name such a beautiful arrangement after me. This is such an incredible surprise. Thank you." I reply then enthusiastically kiss his cheek. His face immediately reddens and he just turns and smiles at me without saying a word. Gah! This man is so cute!
....
The cafe was awesome! The food was so good. The music and poetry was so lovely and my date was a perfect gentleman and funny, and smart, and handsome. This was the best date I've ever been on. The only put off was because this was a cafe for "Normals" Jonny had to keep his glasses on. Their were a few other BGH's there and all of them had to wear those stupid color protective glasses. It's not right. Jonny was spending good money there as this was a fancy cafe, so he shouldn't have to wear his glasses if he doesn't want to. No one should have to where them. I sort of wish we would have gone to an unground cafe so Jonny could be free to show his eyes. We decided to go for walk around a near by park and just chat. He's really shy so he just nervously asks if he can hold my hand instead of just doing it.
"M-may I hold your hand Mila?"
"Yea that'd great!"
He goes for us to clasps our hands but I maneuver our fingers for them to be woven in between each other's. I hope this small gesture shows him I like him and makes him a bit more comfortable with me.
We walk in a peaceful sort of quiet as the crickets and our footsteps play us a rhythmic tune for a while. Jonny spots a bench on top of a near by hill and we go up there to stargaze and talk. Jonny comes alive with excitement as he talks about the stars. He points out constellations and tells me stories behind their names. He describes a shooting star as a beautiful burst of light and energy that glides across the sky. I was becoming more and more enamored with him the more he spoke.
