Time for my shift to start again. I hope Chris and Nia are alright. I hope they're not even in the jail, honestly. In one night Nia became like my soul sister and I just adore Chris. It's like we were all meant to meet each other. I only want the best for them. Though I know due to the extremity of their crimes they would probably lose custody of their child and serve years away from each other in jail. There's a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach. They don't deserve that. They are wonderful people. Chris and Nia and the whole band do work with various charities to help people whether they are BGH or normal. Chris especially is a great example as a celebrity. Chris and Nia would be amazing parents she's so attentive and they are both easy to love people and their eye colors have nothing to do with it. The band would be over and Guy, Will, Phil, and Jonny don't deserve to lose making music together. All this sorrow for what? Because a happily married couple got pregnant. They can afford to take care of it and will love it. They should get to be parents to their child. I find myself getting angry and emotionally worked up as I walk through the doors to the caves. Jerry is sitting at my desk but I'm not in the mood to talk. I just want to check on Chris and Nia.

"Hey Mila my dear how are you today?"

*sigh "Fine Jerry"

"You don't seem fine. What's wrong?"

"I'm just questioning things. Some of our laws that I work to protect I don't understand anymore."

"Sshhh, someone will hear you. These laws are for the protection of the people. For families, for us and BGH's alike."

"You can't believe that. It's not fair that they can't have children with whomever they love. It's not right the way we treat them. They are good people."

"I knew it! It's that band. You need to stop! Can you even work on your own tonight?"

"Of course, of course. I'm sorry, I need to do my job. I know how dangerous BGH's can be. They're dangerous and the Martin's broke a clear law." Those words tasted like vomit but I need to lie (even though Jerry is my best friend) so I could help Chris and Nia and any other good person getting trapped in this system.

"That's my girl. Have a good night and I'll see you when I catch another one."

"Ok stay safe Jerry."
He darts out the door and I hurry to my computer to see what happened to Chris and Nia. I type in their names and see that they are still here. "Crap!" I say in a sigh and instantly decide I would try to make their stay easier. I continue to fill myself in on all the others in "the caves". It's not to full but we have a couple of really rough guys in there. I hope we empty out tonight but I doubt it. My next step is to make the rounds and greet my "cave dwellers".

"Officer Ever! It's almost 11pm your new job is to take the Martin offenders to the conference room and monitor their visits. Another officer will take over monitoring the screens. Is that clear?"

"Yes Commander Minus!" I say strongly trying to mask my excitement. I get to monitor their visits!!! That's awesome!

"The new guy Thomas uhh, oh, Thomas Ever. Will be taking over monitoring the screens. Any relation between you two?"

"Yes sir, he's my uncle. My grandparents had a late surprise and named him Thomas."

"Oh very interesting. Well, be certain to fill your uncle in. He is a year younger than you are."

"Yes sir. I'll take care of him."

"Good, have a good night."

"You to commander thank you."

....

At 11pm my uncle Thomas arrives and I show him the ropes. He's a quick learner and he and I are like siblings because we were raised so close. I'm very happy he's working the caves with me. At 11:30pm a man in a military style hat with short blonde hairs creeping out of it and a pair of color protection glasses walks through the door. He flashes a smile and my heart stops. Thomas text me a message that appears in my glasses.
