Frank Moore is a psychopath who has come up with a diabolical plan. For it to succeed he must first find someone who looks like him. Frank hires a hacker to get into databases, where a close-enough double is found: John Kirk.
Frank then has the hacker switch his identity and fingerprints with John Kirk’s. Ready now, Frank murders his way to the cash he needs to bring his outrageous plan to fruition.
Auto-mechanic John Kirk leads a troublesome life in the harbor city of San Pedro, troubles that fall by the wayside when Frank Moore comes to town. John Kirk, now thought to be Frank Moore, is chased after for the stolen money, and will be sent through 48 hours of betrayal, violence, and murder—until he and Frank come to face-to-face.
