"Boo!" Logan shouted behind me.
"Eeep!" I squeaked. >.<
"Gotcha, amore." He winked at me.
I smiled at him and said hi. We talked for a while, and then decided to have coffee at this café near the school campus. I was sad to leave the beautiful garden but having coffee with Logan outweighed that feeling with happiness.
As we were walking down to the café, I started thinking about how Logan could have sneaked up on me like that. I was facing where he and silver eyes should have been but I didn't see him at all.
Once we stepped out of the courtyard and in to the busy college hallways, students started to gawk at us. Some were fascinated, some were shocked, and some were just plain angry. I could see it all in their eyes. It was so easy to read what they're feeling. In movies, I'm pretty sure that this means everybody would start talking about us, Logan and me, being a couple. That means we're going to be the "hot topic" for an average of at least a week.
Our hands slightly met each other then our fingers slowly interlocked with each other.
I looked up at him and saw that he was trying to act casual about it. I couldn't suppress the chuckle that came out of me.
He looked at me and raised an eyebrow.
"Is something the matter, amore?" He asked.
"Nothing!" I said quickly.
"Amore, you must tell me what is funny so I may laugh too." He smiled as if to assure me that it's okay to tell him.
"Well, I just thought it was sort of funny that you were acting casual about us holding hands. I mean, not like it's a bad thing but it just made me chuckle a bit!"
He chuckled. But I wasn't bothered that he didn't say anything. I felt like he understood what I meant so it was okay to not say anything.
Our fingers were still interlocked when we reached the café. There were still many students here. Actually, that was an understatement. They were everywhere here! I guess they were here to hang out with friends before or after their classes. Oh, college life! This is what I was expecting when I was daydreaming about college in high school
.
We went to the counter and Logan ordered me a "Caramel Frap." I've never really heard of it before because I'm not really into coffee and such. I was short, I'm still short, and so I tried to not drink that much caffeine.
We waited for our "Fraps," when it was ready Logan led me to an obscure stairway going up. He waited for me to start walking up first so I did. I didn't really know what to expect but at the top of stairs there was a door.
I didn't know what to do so I looked back at Logan. He reached over me and opened the door.
The room had the same table and comfortable looking chairs as downstairs but there were bookshelves here. It was also much, much quieter here. There were also students here but they looked as if they were either reading, doing homework or studying.
