"One, two, three, GO!" I dived in the pool and started swimming as fast as I could. I breathed once, swimming from one end of the pool to the other. When I touched the other end with my hand, I looked up and saw that, again, I was the first one to get here. I smiled to myself and called out to my bestfriend, "Come on Laura! You can do it!" She was halfway through the pool and kept slowing down and breathing multiple times. Coach Bob looked at me and grinned, "Way to go Annabeth! You're coming tomorrow to practice right?" I laughed, "'Course! As always."

"How...how do you do it?" Laura was talking, and gasping for air at the same time. "How do I do what?" I took out my white shirt with a green collar and the logo of my school on the left-hand side, and my green shorts. In Aberoad Middle School, students have to wear uniforms, and it's not that I love it, but here in Latvia, where I live, people are used to it. The green shorts with the T-shirt is the P.E uniform.Latvia is in Europe, and my life here is almost my definition of perfect. I mean, everything has it's ups and downs right? Laura stomped her foot and rolled her eyes, "Annie, you know what I'm talking about. I just wish I could be as good as you." I sighed, "And I, wish I could be as flexible and good as you in gymnastics!" I gave her a confident look, "Besides, if you stink as much as you think you do, then why on Earth would coach Bob choose you to be in the school swimming team with amazing swimmers?" She looked at me and said, "I guess you're right, but I'm still like, the worst swimmer in our entire team." I laughed, and told her that, "All you have to do, is swim."
