Chapter nine

"He what!?" Cassie yelled over the phone.
"H-he kissed me." I say still in a daze even 8 hours later
"Why did he do that?"
"I don't know exactly."
"Well come on. He had to of said something. Done something to show he likes you!"
"I mean he kept asking me some random questions but just like my favorite color. Nothing over the top."
"SEE!" Cassie yells again.
"No, sorry I don't see it."
"He wants to get to know you better."
"But that doesn't mean anything. He may just want to be friends. I think I've just been friendzoned."
"Ok, here's the real question. Do you like him?"
"Not really." I say. "He's always calling me bitch and slave. And shoving me into lockers. He's a dick Cassie. Like you said."
There was silence over the phone.
"Well, maybe i should ask my mom, too. Bye Cassie." I said before hanging up.
I decided I needed a bathe after talking to Cassie.
I take a yummy smelling bath and then get dressed in my pajamas. I wore black yoga pants and an oversized yellow tee.
I went into the living room where I saw a shocking sight.
My brother was here.
"Zach!!!" I say as I run and give him a huge hug.
"Hey buttercup." he says with a big smile.
We hug for a long time.
"It's good to see you." he says after he finally release our grasps from each other.
"You, too" I say. "Hey, can we talk?"
"Yeah sure."
We walk into the other room and sit on the couch.
"What's up?" he asks.
"I'm having boy trouble."
"You're only in eleventh grade. What did I tell you when you were little."
"No dating until I'm 30." I say with a smile.
"That's right. No dating until you're 30." He's smiling, too.
"Ok so this guy kissed me at school. What does that mean."
"A boy kissed you at school?"
"Yeah"
"Are you guys dating or anything?" You could see the pain in his eyes of just thinking about his younger sister dating a boy.
"No. I don't even like him. I don't even know him. And he just kissed me."
"Well it could means lot of things." he says.
"Like what?" I ask.
"It could just be friendly. like it it was just a peck on the lips, he could be saying 'hey, can I be your friend'. Or it could be a hint that he wants to be more than friends. But..." he says trailing off.
He takes a long pause.
"But...."
"But in this case I think it's saying he likes you."
