Chapter ten

This is a short chapter sorry but in the matter of 10-ish hours I have gained nearly 100 reads! Thanks so much guys! I will probably update tonight because this chapter is super short.

The next day I don't know what to do. Should I ask Taylor why he kissed me or should I just let it go?
I hadn't decided until on my way to school.
I will confront him and ask him why he did it.
When I get to school I get very nervous on how was I going to do this.
I walked into class and saw he wasn't here yet.
So I sat down not even paying attention to the bell work.
I sit and stare at the door waiting for him to walk in with his posse.
I see his 'gang' walk in but notice Taylor wasn't with then.
I walked up to Amanda and asked where he was.
"I don know." she says with a disgusted look on her face.
Her shoulder hits mine as she walks past me to her desk.
Why isn't he here? I think.
I sit in disappointment. I was going to ask him why he kissed me.
I guess it will have to wait until tomorrow.
The rest of the day I was still trying to figure out what I would've said to him.
Like would I have confronted him or what.
By the time I am on my way to get my things from my locker, I think I've figured out what I would've said- and what I will still probably use.
'So you kissed me on Tuesday. And I can't pretend like it didn't happen. Why?'
I am satisfied with that.
I go home and wait a few minutes for Cassie to get home.
I walk into the kitchen and grab a snack.
I see Cassie's mom's car pull up and head over there.
She sees me as soon as she steps out of the car.
"Hey, what's up?" she says.
"I need to talk to you." is all I say.
"Ok."
We go inside her house and sit on the couch.
I tell her everything. About how I was going to confront him and how he wasn't there and about Amanda.
"Oh my god." She says.
"What?"
"Amanda!"
"What about her?" I say confused.
"I think that Taylor wasn't there today because of Amanda. She is dating John and if Taylor is doing all the things you're telling me he's doing to her like rubbing her knee, I bet she is angry and is annoyed with him." she explains.
I didn't know what to say.
"We'll at least he wasn't afraid to confront you about it." she said.
"You're right." I say.
I text my mom and tell her I was going to have dinner with Cassie.
We talked about other things.
I ate dinner and then went home.
I fell asleep very relieved that Taylor wasn't afraid of me.
