His eyes.
The color of ice. . . the color of the coolest sky. . .
"Zara. . ."
Shivers raced down her spine as she continued to keep her gaze locked with those cool orbs. She couldn't look away, and if she was being honest with herself -she didn't want to. Never before had she felt a pull so powerful, so demanding. A shaky breath left her lips as he slowly closed the gap between them.
"You feel the pull Zara. Don't deny it, I can see it burning in your eyes." His hand moved to trace the smooth outline of her cheek. The simple feather touch threatened to cause Zara's undoing.
"Mackenzie. . ." His pupils dilated and he took a shaky breath when his name left her lips. "Mack, we- I can't. Lau-" Mack's lips closed the distance in the blink of an eye and they covered hers completely.
A breathy moan left Zara's lips as she kissed him back with all the lust that had been building for days. Moisture pooled between her legs at the taste of him. Mack growled as Zara's tongue traced his lips. He pushed her back against the wall hard and ground his hips into hers. Zara's breath hitched and she shuddered at the sheer size of him. She claimed his lips fiercely while her fingers found their way through his hair and she tugged at it in her fever to have all of him. To consume him.
Mack growled and ground his arousal against Zara while his lips blazed a trail of fire down her neck and to the junction of her neck and shoulder. Zara cried out his name when Mack's elongated fangs grazed her neck. He was going to mark her, and for once Zara wanted nothing more. Just as Mack was about to sink his teeth into her flesh and claim her completely, a familiar voice broke into the lust laden mind of Zara.
"What is going on here."
Laurel.
