That girl. The girl I'm in love with. She walked up to me. Just like an angel. I smiled. Probably embarrassed myself now that I think about it. She smiled back. I ran. I ran as fast as I could, hot with embarrassment. I don't know how she put up with me, being the clutz I am. We have done everything together. Gone to the café on campus, even with friends. Most of the time with her friend Jackie, a big Torchwood fan I can't stand, we also go with Zdeno, Dakota, or Felix. They are nice. I think Felix likes her though. I think she tried to tell him she didn't like him, but being the guy he is I know he didn't back off like she told him to. I sometimes think she like him, but I know they are just friends.
I have a part time job at the café. She works at the bookstore. Both on campus. Right next to each other. During her lunch break she goes to the café. One day I asked her a question. A commitment really. I asked her, she agreed, then I was attacked, with kisses, by a girl who had a major crush on me. I told her to go away, but she never stops asking if me and the girl are "together". I never answer her.
Hi, I'm Hunter Blanchard and this is my story. My story of, love, loss, and friends. The girl I've been talking about, that's Melody, Melody Jones. She's very nice, like really nice. Maybe someday you will meet her. Maybe. If you don't like her that's too bad. She's hard to not like, at least that's how I know her. Most likely the nicest person in the world. She'll talk to you like you've been friends for a lifetime. She's got two sisters, their names are Llainey and Blaze. They're nice too but, not as nice as Melody. She had a little brother, Brad, but he died. I always wonder if I'll ever meet him. I mean, I doubt I'll see him while I'm still alive.
The time I asked Melody the question, and she agreed, she told me the way she thought about me when we first met. She told me she thought over and over again that it was enchanting to meet me.
I hope someday you'll find someone as special to you as Melody is to me. Someday I know you will. But now let me tell you the exact story. Maybe then this will all make sense to you.
