Double Trouble

Just when you think things couldn't get any worse, sometimes they just do.

"Harry please just pay him!" She screamed over and over again.

"You said 15, that's what I brought. Let us go!" I yelled at him.

His eyes were laced with a taunting unfair attitude. Shaking his head slowly back and forth with a smug smile he replied, "I don't think so."

"are you fucking nuts?! She needs a doctors help. You said we could leave let us go please." I begged, yet holding in my determined voice.

"20, or I guess I'll be the one to personally bring the baby into this world." "No let us go."

"Harry stop fucking arguing please get us out of here!" Kacey screamed decided higher than either of us men were.

"I can't! Let us go!" I pushed past him and ran towards Kacey.

"Breathe baby breathe." I mumbled softly. He eyes were clenched right as she gripped the round belly. "It hurts." She whined quietly.

"Listen Kid," the man yanked me from Kacey's side. "Pay up, now."

"No you asshole!" I shoved him back but his grip remained at the collar of my shirt.

"Not a smart choice kid." He pulled out the silver weapon and pointed it at Kacey. "Wanna say that again?" Be pulled back the clicker and set his finger on the trigger.

"No please don't." I begged softly. Kacey looked up and her eyes filled with horror. "Pay up then." I was held in place speechless.

"One," he started counting.

"Harry..." Kacey whimpered

"Two."

"Sir I don't have the money please take the 15 please I'm begging you." I shook his arm vigorously off of my body.

"Harry please do something!" She cried, he sobs filling the air as I waited for him.

"Three."

"NO!"

As My echo and the gunshot filled the empty air. His body was pulled off of me and knocked me to the ground. Kacey had silenced and panic set into my body. I shook my head a few times from the fall before standing up.

I heard grunts and the sounds of thuds and yells and when looking around I was astonished.

Edward was toppling this man, throwing blow after blow, like a fighter in an arena.

I couldn't speak at what I saw just freeze, but it wasn't until I heard the continuos cries of Kacey kick back in. Behind me I saw her now laying on her side.

"Kacey!" I called to her. I rushed back and bent to her side. "Kacey! Baby are you hurt?!" I pulled her forward. I looked aprons her body and I thank my lucky stars there was not one spot of blood.

"Harry!" Edwards voice called. I liked back to him and he was now standing up holding the man with his hands. "Harry go now. Leave!" He yelled

"What about you Edward?!" I replied.

"Don't worry I have this asshole. Go now Kacey needs to get to the hospital, fast." He threw the guy over his shoulder and to the ground.

"I said go you dumbass!" He grounded attacking the man again.

"Harry please get me out of here!" Kacey now intervened. My head was spinning with ideas of what to do or what not to do, how to handle this and how to get Kacey away from here.
