My Child, Death

It's inside you.

Growing and growing.

Everyday you feed it,

You can not help to.

If it starves you are gone,

Forever,

As simple as that.

But, eventually it will run out of food.

One day,

Or another.

Its destined to grow hungry,

Its thirst will be unquenchable.

You will have to forfeit your body,

Giving everything you have to it.

Sometimes even your soul.

Why, it's death itself.
