'This is it' She thought. she silently prayed for god to have mercy on her soul, and if she shall go, may lord welcome her through the pearly gates meeted by the ones she dearly loves.
But this was not her time, the angel of death stood behind the tall pine, Its Dark wings flaired out making the black coat shuffle around its skinny bones. It cocked its head to the side, admiring the scene.
As the creature lunged towards the helpless girl another one tackled it from the side, killing the creature instantly not giving it a chance to fight back.
The Demon looked up and his eyes locked with the angel of death, forming wrinkles when his brows furrowed.
The angel blinked a few times before looking at the young girl with hate, then disapearing back to the underworld to settle some unfinished buisness.
"Scarlett" he whispered dropping the creatures body to the side, rushing over to the very pale girl.
Moving her hands away from her face she peeks at him, blood splattered down his jaw onto his grey t-shirt.
He reached for her but she jerked away further against the tree, her breathing becoming uneven.
The last thing she saw before the Blackness was Harold, Scooping her up into his arms.
He raced back to the castle carrying her up the steps once more into the room he previously layed her in.
He gently placed her into the soft duvet, moving some hair out of her face.
Tucking her in and placing a sweet kiss on her for head he sighed.
Time flew by as he watched his girl tremble in her sleep. Oh how he desprately wanted to hold her close and promise she was safe, but that might only make things worse.
At half past six he left the room after he knew for sure she was ok, walking through the lifeless hallways and into the fancy dining room.
He paced into the kitchen reaching for a glass and some jack, he held the bottle as he walked to the stair case climbing it one step at a time untill he reached the top.
Looking behind him he scaned around 'soon' he thought 'everything will fall into place'
Opening his door he walked to the table beside his bed and began to pick up where he last read.
Her eyes tried to stay close but the sun rays were to bright, the sun lighting up every inch of the plain room making it inpossible to sleep a little longer.
She rolled over opening her eyes, they instantly began to water. Last night really happened. She thought it was maybe just a bad dream, something from a horror film she watched?
But sadly, she was wrong. The night mare had just begun.
She pulled back the covers and slung her wobbely legs over the side of the bed, landing flat on her feet.
Debating if she should go out there or not, sooner or later she would have to.
"Damn" she cursed under her breath.
Her slim hand wrapped around the knob opening the wooden door, walking down the narrow hall her fingers skimed along the brick wall.
It was verry dark untill she reached the end, She entered the large room from last night not really knowing her way.
His ears perked up when he heard light foot steps down stairs.
Trying to hold a smile he couldnt help but grin "My love is awake"
