Aliyah finished from her lecture and grabbed her books wanting to get out of there. She hated the drive to Uni and back, everything was so far. When she walked down to leave, Professor Banks called out to her "Aliyah, a word please." She made her way back to him to see what he wanted. What the hell was it now?
"Yes sir?"
"Your father has asked me..."
"My stepfather..." She corrected him
"Your stepfather has asked me to give him a full report on your progress. Thing is I can't really discuss your grades with him, you are an adult and unless you give me the okay I can't really tell him anything." Aliyah inhaled trying to keep it together.
"Whatever, seriously, tell him." He looked at her like debating to say something.
"Very well, I'll see you next week." She grabbed her books and left. Today had been so boring, she hated being here, she didn't want to study anymore, Aliyah wanted to live, to experience the world, to travel. She did not want to be cooped up in the town where everybody believed they were above everybody else.
Driving home Travis called like he always did, he knew exactly where she was, the asshole had her locations. "I've been trying to call your mother and can't reach her or the girls, where are you?"
"I'm heading home, should be there in half and hour."
"Okay, if your mother's home, tell her I won't be back till Thursday, they are asking for extra blueprints and what not. Tell her to call me."
"Not a prob. See you next week." Yes! Thank god she wouldn't see him for another week.
It was dark when Aliyah arrived home, she was a little concerned when Julio the guard wasn't on his desk at the gate. He must have needed to use the toilet. Aliyah pressed her button and the gate opened allowing her in. She drove down the long winding driveway that was lined with huge trees until she reached the front. She parked her car, grabbed her books and her bag and headed for the door.
She unlocked the door using the security code at the front and entered. It was extremely quiet and the house didn't smell like food.
Aliyah had this dreaded feeling in the pit of her stomach as she walked into the living area. She stopped dead in her tracks when she saw her mother and her sisters bound and gagged. Aliyah noticed the two men and without giving it another thought dropped her books on the floor and bolted to the door. She opened the door and ran for her car only to be forced to stop. A hand came over her mouth. "Ssshhhh..."
Ali froze, the man holding her was very strong with his big arms around her. His hand on her mouth silencing her. He was behind her with his arms around her waist and one hand covering her mouth. This man all but dragged her inside the house and closed the door behind him with his leg. In the living room, the twins were crying, her mother's face was that of fear. "Don't scream else I'll hurt you." The man warned her. Only when Aliyah nodded her head did he let her go. Not thinking she kicked his shin earning a curse from him and kneed him in the crotch before running to the kitchen to grab a weapon.
This asshole tackled her onto the floor, he roughly turned her around and sat atop her straddling her. Aliyah was kicking and screaming, her hands were flying out to hurt him, he grabbed her wrist in a painful grip and she felt he was going to break them. "Calm the fuck down." He snapped. Aliyah stopped fighting him, he really was going to break her wrists.
Nothing in the world shocked her more than when she stopped fighting and looked up into his eyes... It was Isaac, the man from the cafe. He must have been just as shocked to see her because he hesitated for a second and just stared.
