Girls night!! (W/ piper and annabeth)

I watch  Annabeth until I know she's fallen asleep. Her breaths evening out and chest steady rising. That's when I hear something... I'm not sure what it is. I start to wiggle out of my blanket and sheets. I wonder what that could've been. I look back one last time to be sure Annabeth is asleep. Luckily she was, I didn't want to drag her out into the dark after watching that movie anyways!

I poke my head out the door and scan my surroundings. All is quiet in camp. No one seems to be awake, as far as I can tell anyways. I sneak out and carefully close the door. I make my way to the back of the Poseidon cabin and find nothing but more bushes and trees. 

"What are you doing still up?" I turn in surprise to find Leo. He wears a Camp Halfblood T shirt with jeans and his magical belt. His smile makes me tear up. "Miss me that much?" 

"Oh shut up!" I squeal tackling him in a hug. "You big idiot! Don't you ever do something like that again! Do you understand?!" I punch him as hard as I can.

"Oof! Hey I'm sorry but a hero's gotta do what a hero's gotta do, Beauty Queen!" He says shrugging it off. We stand there in silence for what seems to be forever. "Hey, I'm really sorry I didn't come back sooner... I-"

"You what? What did you have to do so badly to fake death and run away?!" I cross my arms. "Explain, now." 

"Calypso... She needed me. I love her. And I couldn't just leave her on that island, not like everyone else..." Leo looks away and towards the woods. "Piper, I need to get going here soon. Tell everyone I'm okay and I'll speak with them soon! Though it won't be here." Leo starts jogging back into the woods.  

"Wait! Leo! Where are you going?! Why can't you tell everyone? How are they going to believe me?!" I cry out into the darkness. 

"Don't worry, Beauty Queen! Festus will be staying in Camp HalfBlood until I get back! I and Calypso are going on a trip! I'll talk to you soon! Watch over Festus and oil him every two to three days! Thanks!" And with that Leo disappears in the night. 

All I hear is the creaking and groaning of metal. Soon Festus' gold glowing eyes are visible in the dark of the night. "Hey there, old friend." His glistening metallic body comes into view as he steps into the white moonlight. He gears creak as in response to me. I run my hands run over his smooth warm metal. "What is everyone going to say when I tell them?" Leading Festus to camp I attempt to sneak him in the Poseidon cabin with as little noise, trying desperately not to wake anyone in camp up.  

That didn't work out so well... "Piper?" I turn to see standing before me....
