Monsters? Demons? Giants? Guardians?
My tribe hasn't gone beyond the gate before...grandma tells me stories of the creatures out there
Many people went out there but never came back? Is that true?! Did the things kill and eat them or is there secrets ? Secrets I'm very curious about!
--------
No ones POV-
"Grandma? Did Papa go beyond the gate?!"
"No my sweet baby...your Father had been away for a long time after the war"
"So? Did he?!"
"My boy! Why must you ask so many questions! It's your bed time my dear and your mother is about to come back!! Behave!"
"Yes Grandmama.."
The young boy walks to his room and crawls into his bed covered with Berca skin blankets
The boy covered up and waited for his mother to come home to give him a good night hug
And yet he was confused were his papa went ?
"Grandmama?!! Can you please come here!!"
"Go To Sleep!!! Or I tell you no more stories of the Gates!!"
The Old woman hissed as she was woken from her deep sleep from the boys yelling.
The boy hushed and went to sleep and is now dreaming of what his mother might think of these stories grandmama is telling!
Will she like them?
Will she hate them?
Would she care?
After the questions he closed his eyes and went to bed
Morning
A smell woke the boy from his dream
He groaned in frustration
"It was a good dream too!!"
He stood up and went to the pantry were his mother was cooking
Her dark brown hair tied up with a maslim bone
She turned around and hummed at her  curious son
"Yes?"
"Mama? What are you making?"
The boy walk in and sat down at the table made out of Papyrus plant
"Timker meat"
"Grandmama made that before it was Amazing!!!"
"Hush!! Your grandma is still sleeping!!"
The boy's mother looked at him with her stern blue eyes
And the boy hushed because he hasn't seen his mother in four months
"...grandmama told me about the gate"
The mother stopped turning the handle and turned around
"...she did..?"
"Yep..and I was wondering...did papa go beyond the gate"
The mother shivered at the thought of the gate but when her son mentioned his father she was quite furious
"We must Not!! Talk about your father ..he is not a trustful man.."
"O-h...sorry mama"
"It's ok my boy"
After an hour of talking the boys grandma comes out of her room very tired but when she smelled the meat she woke up
"Hello honey.."
"Hello mom"
"Remember young boy!! You need to work on the crops and after that your can play with your friends ok!"
"Yes grandmama"
The boy runs out side to work on the crops outside of the small hut
"Mother? Why are you telling him about the Gate!!! He's to young!! And HE DOES NOT need to now about his Father who was to foolish to listen to me!"
"Well he needs to know one day or another!!! He will be very careful of the gate"
"Yes mother but at this age? His friends don't even know about the gate?...do they?"
"Maybe?"
"Wel-"
The boy opens the door and interrupts their talk
"Mama! Grandmama!! I'm done with the crops!!! I'm going to play with my friends!!!"
"Hey wait!?"
"Ok?"
"Do any of your friends know about the Gates?"
"..yeah? Well only one he doesn't know what is behind the gates neither do I so eh?"
"Ok then! Go play with your friends!!"
"Bye!!!"
The boy runs off to play with his friend

The Boys POV

---
I run to my friends hut and I see that he was waiting for me to show up
"Hey!! What took you so long?"
"I had to work the crops"
"Bummer..well did you make a plain for us to see what is out side of this old Place?"
"..no not really but get your Hixkapi!!"
"Ok...?"
"We will need him"
"Ok?! So you do have a plan?"
"....not exactly!!!"
My friend calls for his pet Hixkapi
"COME HERE YAPI! COME HERE!!!"
After a couple tries yapi  finally comes
And I start telling the plan
"We will hide behind the trees at the entrance very quickly to not be seen by the guards ok! Since it is time for us to get more food supplies the gate will open and we can peak out from the trees and see what is out there ok!"
"Ok! But what do we need yapi for?"
"Oh I just wanted to see the the giant fuz"
"Oh...well he is giant I mean like 7.6 feet high!!"
"Yeah so I already know that!"
"Well let's go ok!"
"Ok!!"
We put yapi back and we start to walk to the area of the gate......
