Wow someone is actually reading this? Lol. I have a few other stories that I would like to publish so tell me how you are liking this one
I'm swinging on my swing set in the backyard and singing loudly when I hear a small giggle coming from the yard next door. I stop swinging and wander over to the wooden fence. I see a small hole and peer through. I see a small boy, about my age. "Hi" say. "Hello" the boy says back. "I like your singing." He says with a smile "thank you!" I say back. Then I hear a loud shout. "MELANIE!" "COME HERE." My face goes pale. "Goodbye I say to the boy. I run off without waiting for a reply.
-in the house-
"Who was that?"he says worried.
"Just a neighbor." I say.
"Okay...."
"Don't worry. He's just my new friend. Can he come over?"
"I suppose."
"Thank you!" I say with a smile.
I run to the hole and see him there.
I tell him to come over tomorrow at 12:00 a.m.
"OKAY!" He says with a huge grin.
