(Note: Jimin was returned to the Baddest before Taehyung)

Yoongi raced home after he left Jungkook there, he lied to investigation partner about not remembering where he saw that ring before. He totally remembers because he saw it just the night before...

"Jimin, I'm home!!!" He called as soon as he walked in. It was two days after he found Jimin in that horrific situation and helped him out.

"Welcome back!" Jimin said from his spot on the couch.

"Yah Jimin, I told you to rest! you said your whole body still aches? Lay down!" Yoongi nagged, walking to where Jimin was blinking at him, and fixing the cushions to force him to lay down in a comfortable position.

"There you go, this is better" he pulled away with a huge gummy smile, satisfied by having the younger one rest his body.

"Th-Thank you." Jimin smiled back, a little timid smile that held a lot of meaning behind it.

"It's nothing," Yoongi said, his wide smile slowly dropping as he remembered what got him home early in the first place.

"Mmm did you take a shower? I left you a pair of clean clothes out there!" Yoongi asked, trying to not be too obvious with his forced smile.

"Okay then" Jimin said, getting up slowly with the help of Yoongi and limping to the bathroom.

"Just leave your clothes there, I'll wash them for you!" The older one yelled behind him, earning a positive hum before Jimin disappeared into the bathroom.

He went in and started stripping off his clothes. Small timid movements as his whole body was stiff and sore still. He then passed by the mirror on top of the sink without even glancing at himself.

He knows he was a victim, he knows it wasn't his fault, but he still couldn't help the feeling of shame that ate him alive. He just felt filthy. Like a body with no soul limping around with a huge burden on his chest, so heavy to the point of suffocating him.

He often catches himself breathless and gasping for air in the middle of the night. When another nightmare presents itself and he wakes up crying in fear of that terrible night he lived.

Jimin took a shower and was back again in the living room where he was earlier, laying down and watching tv with an absent mind. Yoongi took this chance to go into the bathroom and search after Jimin. He looked at the pile of clothes on the floor and managed to catch a glimpse of the shiny ring that he saw two days ago on Jimin's necklace.

With shaky hands he reached down to pick it, eyes widening slowly as he confirmed all his assumptions... he was right.

"It's the same!!!!!" Yoongi muttered under his breath.

He felt as though he was lost. He didn't know how to react to this, if it's just a coincidence or not, if he should tell Jungkook about this or cover up for Jimin. He knew just how loyal Jungkook is to his job and if he found out about this he'll probably arrest Jimin while doing further investigations.

Yoongi won't allow that. Not to his Jimin.

Instead, he decided to face Jimin. Walking out of the bathroom and going straight to where the latter was seated. Jimin glanced at him, his eyes slowly drifted down to Yoongi's hand and he saw his necklace.
