"Yoongi hyung?!!"

"J-Jungkook?"

"What are you doing here?" Jungkook, who has just walked with Taehyung into the library, was surprised to be met with his friend. He knows well that Yoongi has already graduated, and he has no business being here.

"You guys know each other?" Taehyung asked, eyes shifting between the two shocked looking officers in their casual wear.

"Yeah, we work together!!" Jungkook explained.

"Work? You work already? But you're still in college!" Taehyung asked, tilting his head to the side in confusion. He doesn't know much, but he was sure that people needed their degrees to get jobs.

"Oh, that's a long story, but that's not true. A lot of college students have part time jobs" Jungkook explained, finding Taehyung's cluelessness endaring.

"Oh!!" Taehyung exclaimed, another new thing he got to learn today. He has been learning ever since he left that old hag's house.

"So, you can meet the person you're here for and I'll wait for you with Yoongi hyung?" Jungkook smiled, but it didn't last for long as Tæ's next words hit him.

"But, he's the one I'm here to meet..." Taehyung pointed at Yoongi, blinking his eyes with his straight confused face.

"Oh- Wait, you know Yoongi hyung?!!" Jungkook might've overreacted but he couldn't hide his surprise.

He glanced at Yoongi and noticed how the older one was staring at Taehyung nonstop, as if Taehyung is the only person that existed in this place to him. He didn't even blink or bat an eye. And he also seemed kind of nervous?

Suddenly, Jungkook got flashbacks of Yoongi telling him about the person he likes. He had told him that the person was a "he" and he was beautiful-

Jungkook's gaze moved to Taehyung who was busy bringing something out from his bag. Taehyung is definitely beautiful...

Jungkook felt a bang against his heart. He couldn't fight the urge and glare at his friend who was still busy admiring Taehyung. He opened his mouth to say something, to tell Yoongi to cut it out and stop staring, but before he managed to get the words out, the older one spoke.

"Tae, let's talk?" Yoongi grabbed the younger's arm before glancing at Jungkook nervously and adding "alone."

"But, what about Jungkook?" Taehyung pouted, looking at Jungkook apologictly, that the younger one had no choice but to force a smile.

"It's fine. I'll just wait here, you guys can talk!" Jungkook said between gritted teeth, throwing one last glare at his friend before walking past them to take a seat in one of the library chairs.

Yoongi pulled Taehyung further away, being too careful to not allow Jungkook to eavesdrop on their conversation.

"What are you doing, Taehyung!??!" Yoongi scolded the second they stood further. Making the younger look at him with his confused and innocent eyes.

"Don't you know who he is?" Yoongi questioned again when he got no answer from him.

"He's Jungkook!" Taehyung cheerfully replied, a proud smile contouring his face as he glanced back at Jungkook. Jungkook, who was shooting daggers with his eyes the longer their conversation went.

"Ugh, never mind." Yoongi sighed, fighting the urge to facepalm. He straightened up and took a deep breath in, finally dropping the main question that he came here for. "Where is Jimin?"

"Oh right... Jimin said that he doesn't want to see you again." Taehyung said, his gaze dropped down to his shoes as he shifted from one foot to another.

"W-What? But when I spoke to your father, he said I could meet him!" The desperation in Yoongi's eyes was evident to anyone. Anyone but the clueless Taehyung who looked at him with his expressionless face, blinking a few times before hitting him with the question he wasn't prepared for.

"What do you want from Jimin?" Taehyung asked. His father had told him to take Jimin's spot and meet Yoongi instead just to ask him this question.

Namjoon was suspicious of the detective's persistent attempts to reach for the younger, and when he shared his concerns with Tae, he was more than glad to help him out with it.

"I-I just want to talk to him!" Yoongi stammered, he wasn't prepared for such a question. To be honest? He wasn't prepared for anything. Even if he met Jimin today, he had no idea what he wanted to say.

"About what?" Taehyung asked again, his eyes squinting suspiciously with each question.

"I don't know... I just need to talk to him!" Yoongi said, giving up thinking or coming up with a lie.

"That's not convincing enough, if I was Jiminie hyung, I wouldn't want to meet you either." Taehyung said, unintentionally hurting the older's feelings.

"I'll go now. Stop looking for Jimin hyung until you have an honest answer to my question." Taehyung's usually bright and bubbly self was nowhere to be found, his unamused features and cold eyes making his words come off ten times harsher.

He walked past Yoongi, to where Jungkook was still patiently waiting for him. The latter smiled when he saw Tae walk up to him, immediately getting up, and walking out of the library without even glancing back at the detective who was left alone with his thoughts.

"What do I want from you, Jimin?"
