Ever since the incident, all the girls have been in their rooms isolating ourselves from each other. We occasionally leave our rooms to go downstairs to get something to eat or unless Daddy calls us to help him rub one off. I couldn't help but feel sorry for the way Daddy beat Kimmie and humiliated her. Despite what happened between them nobody deserves to get beaten that bad. The blood dripping from her face replayed in my mind making me cringe and my stomach turn each time.
"Hey we're having a little sleep over in Sasha's room, if you want to come and talk to us," Veronica said peeking in my room. I got up and put on my robe and slippers following her to Sasha's room. Maybe a little sleepover would help us recover from the horrific events that took place and help us continue to move on with our lives and work. You can tell that everyone was shaken up over the other night and we needed to get our minds off it.
When I walked in Tyler and Sasha was sitting on the floor talking and eating ice cream. I couldn't help but notice how pretty and gorgeous Sasha room was. Her room was very different from the rest of ours. Unlike the rest of ours her room was red, with pink going around the edges of the wall. She also had her own ceiling fan. The carpet was black and so was her floor to ceiling curtains. She even had curtains around her bed. There was a huge TV mounted above the fireplace in her room with pictures beside it on each side. She had her name painted on the wall in bold white letters and even had a few pictures hanging up. In one picture I noticed a baby girl, dressed in a pink and white little dress lying on a pink fuzzy pillow. I'm sure it was her because she still has that brown hair and big round open eyes.
"Okay I guess we should try to get this party started and have a little fun?" Tyler asked pulling out a small bag of weed out her robe pocket. My eyes opened wide and Sasha shook her head.
"No no, we really shouldn't be doing that. Daddy will definitely disapprove of this. How did you even get that?" Sasha asked. Tyler shrugged her shoulders.
"Some nigga dropped it on his way out of my room one night and I hid it in my bathroom under the sink so nobody could find it. I figured why not smoke it with y'all tonight," Tyler said. Sasha raised an eyebrow.
"Ty I really don't know about this, I don't want us to get in trouble," Sasha said concerned. "Besides we don't have anything to roll it with."
"I have a pipe in my room that we could use," Veronica spoke up. All the girls turned and looked at her surprised. She looked back at us confused.
"What?" she asked us twisting her face up. "You never saw a Hispanic smoke before? I used to smoke a lot when I first moved here from Puerto Rico. My cousin gave me this pipe before he died and I just couldn't part with it. Daddy doesn't know about it though," she explained. Sasha sighed and threw her hands up.
"Go ahead and get it I guess. Tyler has the weed anyways," Sasha said rolling her eyes. Tyler smiled big giving her a tight hug and Veronica got up quickly and went to her room. Sasha had got up and put on some music for us to listen to.
"Is this Notorious B.I.G?" Tyler asked her when the song came on. Sasha smiled and nodded her head. I could tell that they both are a huge fan as they rapped along to his song Juicy. They knew every single word to the song. Sasha turned on the ceiling fan and put a towel at the door before spraying some perfume around. Once she was done she sat back down on the floor with us as Veronica came back inside holding a small pipe in her hand waving it around.
"Look what I got," Veronica said smiling joining us on the floor. Tyler eyes lit up as a smile spread across her face. She took the pipe from Veronica and put the weed inside making sure that it was filled.
"We should play a game with this," Tyler said while holding the pipe. "Whoever has it, needs to explain what brought them here and of course smoke it," she explained. "Y'all down?"
