Chapter Five

*****************************************************************

"Hey there babe," he said with a grin.

"Hi," I said shyly, blushing slightly.

"Ready to go?" he questioned.

"Yep," I said.

"So, I was thinking we go a fancy Italian restaurant?" he said to me questionably.

"Sounds great," I said smiling at him.

"Ok, let's go. The limo is over here," he said, pointing to a black limo across the street.

"Oh myy..." I muttered under my breath.

Once we were in the limo, we chatted easily about their next tour dates, what I'm going to do for the next few years and just anything else we thought of, really. By now, we were just pulling into the restaurant when we finished one of our many conversations.

"What would you guys like to start out with?" our waitress asked us, smiling too much.

"I'll have the spaghetti, thanks," Liam responded.

"And I will have fettuccine alfredo and a raspberry Italian soda," I told our waitress.

"Alright, I'll be back as soon as we have your food made," she told us, smiling a little less now.

"So. How 'bout we get to know each other a little more?" he said, staring into my eyes while a slight smile flashed across his face.

"You go first," I told him with a smile.

"Well, I was born in Wolverhampton, England. But you probably already knew that," Liam said with a smile.

"Maybeeee....." I said smiling back.

"Now you go."

"Okay, well I was born here in Seattle. I am an only child, but my two best friends, Sunni and Zoe, are like my sisters."

"Cool, they seem like great best friends. The boys are like my brothers as well."

"You guys seem really close," I gave him a small smile. He smiled in return.

"What kind of music do you listen to?" he asked.

"Oh, I like artists like Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Cher Lloyd, Maroon 5, and of course One Direction," I said smiling big. Liam put on his best fangirl face and gasped.

"Me too! Aren't they the best?" he said fangirly. I started laughing really hard and a snort slipped out. Liam started cracking up.

"Was... that... a... SNORT?" he said between laughs.

"Stop making fun of my laugh!" I yelled with a hint of anger in my voice, but with a small smile.

"Your food is here," the waitress said, interrupting our conversation, but brining our food with her.

"Thank you," we said in unison. We ate our food in silence in the beginning, and then talked a little throughout the rest of the meal. When we we're done with our food, which was really, really good by the way, we sat there talking.

"Want some dessert? You can pick, but just so you know, I like chocolate things," he said with a wink.

"Sure... how 'bout a chocolate sundae?" I said, looking at the menu. All the desserts looked so good! They had cake, ice cream, cheesecake, and a whole bunch of other things that were so fancy, I couldn't even pronouce the names. But I felt like ice cream, so thats what I got.

"Okay, sounds good," he said, calling over the waitress, "could we get a chocolate sundae?"

"Sure thing. It'll be out in a couple of minutes," she said smiling. The waitress walked away slowly, turning back to look at us one more time before going to talk to another waitress. We could hear whispering and she pointed at us. Through their conversation, we heard things like "...isn't that...?" and "......I think so...." with "...from that ban-...".

"I think they started to recognize you," I whispered to Liam.

"Me too, maybe we should go."

"Ya, let's go pay. Just let me get out my wallet," I said reaching for my purse.

"No, i'll pay."

"Are you sure? I can pay."

"No, let me pay. It's the gentlemen thing to do."

"Okay, but we should go fast." The waitresses started going and talking to other people, still pointing at us every once in a while. That caused other customers to start looking. I heard one girl scream "OMG ITS LIAM PAYNE FROM ONE DIRECTION!!!" and everyone started looking around for us.

Liam grabbed my hand and we ran towards the register, and he left a handful of cash on the stand. We ran out of the restaurant chased by a bunch of fangirls. Surprising how many fangirls go to fancy restaurants. We heard people screaming behind us saying things like "I love you Liam" and "who's that girl with you Liam?". We ran to the limo that was outside, a little bit away in a parking lot next to the restaurant, and climbed in.

"Go go!" Liam shouted. The driver then started the limo, heading towards the boys hotel.

"Wow, lots of girls really do love you," I said panting, "It's terrifying."

"Ya it is," he said panting but slightly laughing, "We love our fans, but they do get a little-"

"Insane?" I said cutting him off, "Obsessed? Crazy?"

"Pretty much."

We then arrived, we both ran out of the limo and into the hotel. From his hotel room, we could see that the fangirls followed us here. Those wack-a-doodles.

"It will be hard to get you home without the fans mobbing you," he said, "Wanna stay the night here?"
