Gian

It's been sixteen years after the attack. Our pack grew stonger after that. But my mate, became vulnerable. She seldomly smile and laugh. Most of the time she spends her time in the nursery room. Where our baby should grow up. Where we should build our first memories. Where we should hear his first word. That room is suppose to be full of life and memories, with laughter and joy. But it turned out to be a room full of sadness, tears and grieving. Whenever I walk pass that room it only reminds me that day. That day I first held my son, the same day I lost him. Having this thoughts, I didn't realise that I was walking towards where my wife was.

'Knock, knock, knock' I slowly knocked at the door. And slide it open, reaveling a pair of gloomy hazel eyes. Those eyes I've been watching and loving for the past sixteen years.

      I slowly approached her.

"Honey, what are you doing here?" I asked as I snuggle into her neck.

"Today is his birthday."she responded with a sad tone, almost cracking.

     "I know and I'm sorry." I breathed.

"No, you don't have to." she whispered as I felt her hot tears rolled down on her cheeks.

I reached over to wipe it. It hurts me. To see my mate, my wife, my love,  my life, being tormented for the past sixteen years. It rips me up inside. But I need to stay strong for her. I'm the only one she have after our son. And for that past sixteen years I've been living my life for her. And because of her I managed to run this pack stronger and tougher. She's my everything and I love her.

She reached her fair hand to my cheeks and whispered,

    "i love you too,"

My walls aren't up so I knew she was reading what I was thinking. So I gave her a warm smile in response.

"I love you more," I replied.

        "Is he still alive?"

        "I hope so,"

"I wonder what's his name if he's still out there? If someone had found him, would they name him from his blanket he's wearing that day?"

That question made me remember that day when we were arguing with my wife what should we name our baby boy when he comes out.

' "I told you Austin is far more better than what you suggest!" she protested.

"Well, can you just give me a chance to name my baby boy TOO! He's also my son Reese, he also came from me. I just wanted to name my son who's next in line being the alpha of this pack."

"But he's also MY firstborn son, how can I not do anything watching you name my baby? I will not let you stich that name on that blanket!" she hissed.

When Reese was just a week pregnant when we came up with the idea of stiching our baby's name on the blanket he's about to wear when he'll meet the world. It wasn't bad after all, it's a pretty idea.

And now we're arguing with my lovely wife what should we name him. Can't we just name my son two names? My wife said NO and I obeyed her. And seriously I kinda obsereved that most of my ancestors doesn't have second names. She thinks it might ruin the record. It's really funny that a couple would fight over what you should name your dear child. I find it pretty funny, but cute. Note we've been fighting this thing for almost five months. She's almost due. Well you know Luna's have the ability or special treatment should I say, that there pregnancy period won't last that long. Just like the normal pack member or like the human.

So I wanted to fix this thing over before she gives birth. So that we can stitch up my baby's name already. I know I'm suppose to be tough, strict, rude and serious all the time kind of an alpha. But nah, believe me I don't do that everytime. And yeah I'm pretty good in stiching, even though it's not my hobby. I arrived at our room, hearing my wife humming a lullaby. So I just opened the door silently. Making sure not to distract her.

As I walked inside the room, her scent has became stronger, sweet vanilla and jasmine mixed up together made me want her. I know it's just the effect of her pregnancy. Wolves who are pregnant release more of their scent only for their mate to smell. It makes the bond stronger and it lets the male know that a responsibility and honor is about to come.

"What do you want?" she asked.

"I have to tell you something."

      "Me too,"

"I think I'll agree with Aust..."

"I like Daem..." we laughed. Ending up, fixing this and preffering each others idea is way better than our own idea.

"Honey, look I realized that what you said couple months ago were right. You have the right to name this child of ours, because your his father, his alpha and I know you know better for his future than mine. I trust you with everything the day I chose to be with you. So it's Daemon." she said with a bright smile flashing all over her face.

"...but honey are you sure about this? I mean you can name him Austin and that's fine with me as long as it came from your heart and it's out of love."

"Daemon and that's final," I was about to say something, but suddenly she kissed me to be silent. I just smiled enjoying the moment.

"So where's the blanket? So that we could get started!" she giggled as she get the things for stiching.

Few minutes later.

      "Here it is!"

"It's perfect!" she said as she ran her fingertips to the embroided name on the blanket.

"It's lovely," she muttered with a smile.

"I'm pretty sure Daemon would like it."

"Like it? He would love this, Honey, he will love this."

"Yeah," I replied as I kissed her. I was about to deepen the kiss but suddenly she let out an ear piercing scream.

"AAAaaahh!!" she screamed as she tries to grasp some air, while holding unto her tummy.

"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked, but she looked at me with a smile and said,

"Baby's coming..." she whispered. Then suddenly her water bag broke.'
