"No one POV's"Lauren undresses. Camila nervously tells her to cut it out. Laughing at her reaction, Lauren calls her a dummy and heads toward the water in her swim suit.
Camila gets back at her by telling her there's a snake by her feet, then laughs as Lauren dashes off fearfully, believing her joke. There's a really clumsy transition as everyone lazes on the beach. Harry looks out at the water and senses something amiss; he grows more concerned as his shouts Camila's name, which rouses Lauren from her nap.
Camila is struggling to remain afloat (in, like, FOUR FEET of water), suffering a muscle cramp. Lauren tries to go after her, but her feet won't budge in the shallow water. A brief flashback of a body struggling in the water tells us that there's something traumatic in Lauren's past that explains why she can't swim.
Instead, Normani darts past and swims out to rescue Camila.Normani brings Camila in, and now that she's safe, Lauren keeps at a distance, upset with herself for not being able to do anything.
Back in Shinhwa, Lauren's mother asks Mr. Jung what Lauren is up to. Feeling sympathetic toward Lauren, Mr. Jung tells her of the weekend trip with F4, leaving the girls out of it.Awash in self-loathing, Lauren takes to the hot tub alone, and as she slides underwater, a flashback shows Little Lauren flailing in water and crying out for help.
Ally and Dinah explain to Camila that when Lauren was six, she'd been kidnapped. The car was chased and went into the river — with Lauren in it. Yeah, I think that would do it for me too.Perhaps compensating for her inability to save Camila, Lauren takes extra care with elaborate dinner preparations. She particularly fusses over Camila, saying that her muscles cramped because she's not eating properly; she fills her plate and instructs her to eat up.
Quieter than usual, Normani leaves the table without eating. Concerned, Camila follows her out to the pier, watching as the flower girl from the village hands her a potted flower and tells him to give it to his girlfriend. At dinner, Dinah teases Harry, under the mistaken impression that he likes Lauren. Confused, Harry tells her that's ridiculous. Referring to their hilltop conversation, Dinah asks why she cares so much whether Camila and Lauren get into trouble, then. Harry blurts, "That's because there's someone else Camila li..."
She cuts herself off, but it's enough for Dinah to guess what she was about to say.More great music (are playing on background ) as the group enjoys the party, until Lauren draws their attention to her specially planned fireworks display. She sneaks a look at Camila, then looks away quickly when she glances at her. Camila smiles in appreciation, her good mood lasting until she comes out of her bathroom later that evening to see Lauren unexpectedly in her room. Immediately nervous, she backs away and remembers the psychic's prediction that she'll be losing "something important, as a woman."
But Lauren surprises her by kneeling at her feet and fastening an anklet on her leg. It's a cheap trinket from the marketplace, but she warns, "It may be cheap but if you lose it, you're dead." Her tactics may lack a certain finesse, but Camila looks touched at the gesture.
Camila heads next door to Harry's room, but when her knock goes unanswered, she wanders the pier. Spotting Normani alone on the beach, she heads down to talk to her.
