1:10 Pm
Today was moving day. Goodbye H/t, and hello Sakura New Town(Springdale)! You weren't very sure if you were excited or upset, maybe a bit of both, but what you were certain of was that you were ready for a fresh start.

You sat in the corner of the attic, burrowing your face into your hoodie for warmth. It was freezing cold up there, and you didn't like it one bit. You heard a familiar voice coming from downstairs and removed your face from the clothing.

"Y/n, can you grab the rest of those boxes and bring them outside?" Your mom asked.

"Uh, yeah. Sure thing!" You replied as you made your way towards the boxes. You heaved one of them up and started to lose balance, quickly regretting your decision.

"Thank you Y/n." She called back.

"No problem-" You gasped, regaining your footing. You walked forward a few inches until the box's weight was just too much. It slipped from your hands and you went flying backwards, crashing into the other boxes with a loud bang. You cringed from the pain and had a face that said "Why me?". After a few minutes of just lying there, you slowly got back on your feet and began cleaning your mess up, the contents of the boxes had gone everywhere.

While cleaning up, something caught your eye. There, sitting on the ground was a watch of some sorts. It was F/c and looked like it came out of a Sci-fi movie. You picked it up in curiosity and after observing it for a minute or two, clasped it around your wrist. You noticed there was a small button on the side of the watch and held it down, light emitting from the device.

"So it has a flashlight?" You thought to yourself as you pointed the watch in random directions for your amusement. You let go of the button and unlatched the watch from your wrist, sliding it into you're coat pocket. You definitely weren't leaving this behind.

7:45 Pm
You returned to your old home for the last time, checking to make sure you didn't forget anything. It seemed you had everything, until you spotted an upside down box when you returned to the attic.

"Huh... Could of swore I got all of the boxes..." You said out loud as you walked over to retrieve it. You reached out your hand and what happened next made you turn ghostly pale.

The box moved.

It shot across the room and made a hard impact with the table that sat next to the window. It was dark over in that area, the light from the sun no longer illuminating the room, it was pitch black. What ever just happened was most likely caused by an animal being stuck under the box, perhaps a rat.

You suddenly gathered up the courage to go check it out. You didn't have a flashlight with you so you dug your hand into your coat pocket and grabbed the mysterious new watch you had acquired earlier today. You then clasped it around your wrist and held down the button on the side and pointed it towards the dark area, inching slowly to the scene.

As you approached the box, you slowly moved your hand towards it for the second time and grabbed one of the flaps, hesitating for a second before you quickly whipped it into the air and threw it across the attic.

Nothing.

You came to the realization that if there was nothing under there, it must have made its way under the table. Lovely. You got on your hands and knees and peaked under the table, shining your watch light in the area.

To your shock, a purple smoke emitted from underneath the table, unveiling the culprit behind the moving box.

'Did my watch just do that?' You thought to yourself as you directed your gaze towards the animal that stood before you.

It was- a cat? You couldn't quite tell, it had a strange body shape. It was a lot larger than usual and had stubby arms and legs along with two P/c flaming tails. You stared into its P/c eyes and it stared back, shaking, it looked like it was in fear.

"H-hi there..." You said to it, forcing a smile.

"Wha- nyou- nyou can see me, nyan?" The cat replied, obviously unnerved.

'D-did that cat just talk?'

This whole thing just felt so unreal, like a dream. Any moment now you'd wake up in the car, making your way to Sakura New Town.

"Can nyou please help me? I can't see anything..." The cat asked hopelessly.

You felt bad for the poor thing so you quickly took its paws and slid it from underneath the table, picking it up and making your way out of the attic.

***

I hope I did alright, tried to keep it short since it's only a prologue. Spent about a month on this trying to get it how I wanted, I'm a slowpoke I know. Anyways I won't take as long for the next chapter because I usually only have trouble starting a story. See you guys!
