Chapter 4 - What's Wrong?

The room was dark. You sat there quietly lost in thought, thinking about the events of yesterday. Why had Yk/n given up so easily? You shook your head and pulled out your smartphone, opening F/M/G. You had so many mixed emotions about the whole situation. After playing for about a half an hour, you heard the familiar creaking of your closet door.

You shone your Smartphone's flashlight in the direction of the closet and were extremely unsurprised to see Yk/n exiting the area they had hid out in.

"Yk/n, you okay?..." You whispered, trying not to wake your parents.

"I'm fine, nyan..." Yk/n replied as they hopped into the bed and sat next to you, not saying a word.

"Do you want to talk about yesterday?.." You asked, breaking the silence.

"I had a headache and I wasn't feeling well, that's all, nyan." Yk/n said quickly.

You squinted at Yk/n in disbelief. There had to have been more to the story.
"Yk/n, you were acting really weird. I was trying to help you and you just rejected it? I thought you wanted to figure out who you are."

"I-I'm sorry Y/n- I- I was being stubborn, nyan-" Yk/n stuttered, obviously unnerved.

"Yk/n, it's okay... I'm just a bit confused. Maybe right now isn't the best time to talk though, it's really late so we should get some rest and talk about this later."

Yk/n calmed down. "Alright, good idea, nyan."

"I'm also starting school here tomorrow, you're welcome to come with if you're willing to get up early."

"That'd be nyice... Y/n?"

"Yeah?"

"Is it alright if I sleep here tonyight with you, nyan?"

"Sure I guess." You replied before the two of you dozed off.

After that conversation, you couldn't help but get the feeling that Yk/n was hiding something.

This chapter was extremely short, my apologies. Reason being is I have plans for the next chapter and it's going to be very long! I also wanted to get an update out for the book. I promise future chapters will be more upbeat than these last two. Also, anybody have an idea what's going on with Yk/n? :>
