We all went out at night to sit on a fence. It was a full moon, and the stars shone brightly. I sat between Cloud and Kaitlyn, with all of us lined up in a row. It was quiet except for the soft chirp of crickets. We let our ears and tails out and relaxed. Cloud sharpened her claws on the fence while Kipz and Amaya yawned.
"Peaceful." Kaitlyn whispered.
"Yeah." i said. Small fireflies danced in the trees and around the sky, blending in with the stars. The big moon hung above us, our shadows leaning over the fence. Taylor had fallen asleep sitting up. Amaya leaned against her, absorbing the scenery. Tyler sat next to Margret, chatting. The sounds of nature filled my ears, and tired me. My ears drooped and i leaned on Kaitlyn. She smiled and stroked my hair, tiring me further.
"Rest. I always get a good sleep under the moonlight." She whispered.
"But what about the surprise?" i yawned.
"This is the surprise." Cloud said.
"The beauty of the moon and nature is always a surprise."
"Wow." i whispered as my eyes closed..
