    Y/N POV
I wave to my dad as he leaves rehearsal. I felt someone's arms wrap around my waist.

"I'm glad you came." I turned around to see Keith. "I am too, I feel guilty" I pout looking down at my shoes. Keith lifts my face up to his. "Why don't you just tell him?" "I don't know, he doesn't really like the people I have dated" "That shouldn't be an issue since I'm playing him in a movie" I laughs. I agree, I just want my dad to be open for me to date Keith. I hug him and say my goodbyes to everyone.

                 Keith's POV

I walk into the rehearsal building to get my stuff. "EH, KEITH COME HERE" Woody says loud as hell. "What man?"

"You see how fine Ronnie daughter is like got damn!" I rolled my eyes at Woody. "I might have a chance wit Miss Y/N" "You go and do you Woody"

These fools over here drooling over here. "Keith acting like she ain't fine" "I didn't say that, but I don't like we should be talking about her like that" "Ohhh, I see Keith and ol girl hooking up" All of the boys laugh. I shake my head and get up and leave.

They all some lonely ass niggas. I just need to make sure Y/N's alright, she seems nervous about telling her dad about us. I'll give her time though. I don't want to push this on her.

              Y/N's POV
I get home and unlock the door. "He's so mature and he really reminds me of myself when I was younger, I'm really proud." I hear my dad talk to my mom about Keith I'm guessing.

"Hey Y/N, did you like rehearsals" "Uh Yeah I did have a good time, I have to talk to you about something" I feel my hands starting to sweat as they both wait for me to say something. "I've been talking to someone" I paused looking at them to see my dad's reaction. "Well who is it?" My mom asked. "Keith" I say quietly "What?" "Keith" I say a little louder. " Y/N Y/M/N DEVOE" "It's Keith" I say loud enough for them to hear. "KEITH, KEITH POWERS, KEITH" I nod as look at my father who seems upset by the news. "He's really nice dad I re-" he cut me off "He's a good kid Y/N I don't think you're ready for a serious relationship"

I looked at him with a confused face "Since when were you in control of the seriousness of my relationships" I stood up. "Y/N" my dad called me and I made my way towards the front door. "I'm leaving" I say as tears fell down my face.

I get into my car and made my way to Keith's house. I knocked on the door. He opens the door wearing only basketball shorts. I hug him with tears in my eyes. I can't believe my dad won't like me be happy.
