Is this Reality??

Chapter 1

I yawn and twirl my pencil boringly while my chemistry teacher stands at the front of the classroom talking. How much more of this class is left? I glance at the clock and see I still have a good twenty minutes. Damn….I fucking hate this class. .. The teacher starts writing a problem on the board and cross my fingers that he doesn’t pick me to answer it. He probably will because he's an asshole. He puts the chalk down and turns around. "Ok class! Who would like to come up to the board and answer this?" Nobody raises their hand.

He looks around before resting his eyes upon me. "Destiny! how about you!!!C'mon up here and solve this!" He says and grins. God damn.... he's always out to get me ugh.. I let out a big sigh and look at him. "Do I have to?" I ask. "If you want your participation points for the day then yes." He answers.

 I shrug. I don’t need the points... I’m fine with failing. That’s what I’m best at... "Yeah I’m not doing the problem pick some other idiot to do it," I say and chuckle. "Destiny I strongly suggest you do it. You need all the points you can get to pass my class," He says sternly. "No  ... I’m not doing it," I say and cross my arms. "Destiny... get up here and do the problem!" He says meanly and points to the board.

"Dude I’m not doing the fucking problem! God damnit! Pick someone else to fucking do it!” I say and stand up. I grab my stuff and head to the door. "Destiny! I did not excuse you!" He yells. I hold up my middle finger and reach for the door handle. "DESTINY! TURN AROUND AND LOOK AT ME YOUNG LADY! IM TALKING TO YOU!" He shouts. I turn and point to my face. "Does this face look like I give a fuck about what you are saying?" Half of the class chuckles. The teachers face goes bright red with frustration. "GO TO THE OFFICE NOW!" He says angrily. I chuckle and just walk out.

The principle is already in the hall. She’s talking to a different teacher. “YO MRS.JAMES!!” I say loudly and give a wave. She looks at me and frowns. “Please tell me you just forgot your hall pass and are on your way to the bathroom. Not my office,” She says and sighs. I chuckle. “What don’t you like our time spent together in your office? I thought we were totally bounding!!” I say and give her a huge grin. She wave’s goodbye to the teacher she was talking to and we both start heading to her office. “Do I ever get a week without having to yell at you?” She asks and gives me a weak smile. “No never!” I laugh. She looks at me, her blue eyes filled with concern and a hint of anger. “What ever happened to straight +A Destiny? The one who was scared to even ask me a question?” She asks.

I stop smiling and just look at the ground. What did happen to the old me?? Oh yeah…. He killed it….. I just shrug. “Girl! You are the reasons I have wrinkles at the age of 35!” She says and gives a small chuckle.
