One. Two. Three. Four. Five.
People in white lab coats and tablets, or even clipboards. I layed there silently, waiting for my time.
Two knocks bring me back into reality. A nurse, and guard watch me slowly and wave two fingers to the door while they enter, instructing me to leave the padded cell. I get up slowly, and stare at my surroundings.
The nurse has a name tag, covered by her long strands of hair that have escaped from her proffesional bun, and green irises to compliment her hair. The guard has brown eyes, and medium long sized shaggy brown hair that you can see below his helmet.
The three of us walk up the hall, while I inspect the prisoner's in their cells.
Crying, sleeping, eating bits of their flesh. It's all the same in this facility.
"So, what's so special about this ray of sunshine?" The guard asks in a serious tone."It's confidential, even if you are a guard." The nurse says quickly, keeping her pace and head straight.
"I'll tell you once she's delivered.""Yes, ma'am." The guard stutters to the quick response she made.
In the facility, metal is used for the floors, and walls. No natural disaster or explosion could bring it down. Believe me, we've tried.
We eventually reach a door, and we stop for a moment as the nurse shuffles around in her coat pockets.
"Great. Watch her while I go to my office, I left my card. " She says in frustration as she pivots and heads to her office.
The guard looks me up and down.
"Don't think about it." I say, watching his eyes as they zip to my face.
"I will shoot you." He whispers violently.
"Ha. Try me." I shout as loud as I can.
The guard pushes me into a empty, open cell. He closes the door, grabs my hand, and cuffs it to the steel bed.
"Don't scream." He mutters.
"The name is Hoffman."
"Oh, nice, what am I supposed to do with this information?" I say while I try to get the cuffs off.
"This."
