I was transported outside the building by two guards, while Christasia was going to the parking garage to get her car. I looked at the beautiful trees and ponds, remembering my classes about this outside world.

Blend in. That's all I need to focus on. Don't be as smart as you usually are. Don't talk about poisonous trees and plants infront of normal people...

Im just not ready for this "new" world. Even if I was taken by this corporation when I was twelve. Actually, I was sold by my parents. Thanks mom, thanks dad. Love you too. I hate them so -

The guards pushed me into the backseat of a car, and closed the door. I grabbed whatever I could, and pulled myself up. As soon as I was able to, I put on my seatbelt, and looked at the driver. Christasia. Thank goodness. I relaxed, and let loose, falling into a deep sleep.

Huh..? I slept until nighttime? How... I wasn't that tired. Peculiar. When I sat up straight, I noticed Christasia consistently checking on me through the driver's mirror, smiling at me when she noticed I had awoken. I smiled back, and held my hands together while looking out the window. Soon, the car pulled into an expensive looking neighborhood, named "Dreden Hills". I glimpsed towards all of the beautiful houses hidden by pine trees, and oaks. Magnolias, and birch trees. Magnolias were the prettiest, but they smelled disgusting. Maybe I will grow out of it, I will never know until it happens. I stared out the window, admiring how some houses were out in the open, and some were hidden, just like in a fairy-tale. Soon, we turned into a path, and came to a soft, cement road with lanterns built in a Victorian style that complimented the road. Being in the backseat, I couldn't see what we were pulling up to, but as soon as we parked in front of the big white building, I got out, and looked amazed at the architecture. I didn't know what to do but stand there, seeing bright lights, and magnolia trees blending with the dark grass, as morning dew sat on top of the blades of grass. I've never had a mirror. I want to see who I am. What I am. Christasia opens her car door, and closes it behind her, going to the trunk of the car. She opens it, and collects her suitcase, and my few prized possessions in a... Vera Bradley sack. She hands me the bag, and I carry it in, following behind her.

She opens her purse, fishes out a card of some sort, and swipes it over the keypad, opening the door automatically. I walk in, and see the fireplace, open concept kitchen, and a patio in the backyard. A pool, hot tub, and a miniature zip line connected to two pine trees. I drop my jaw in amazement, and look at Christasia.

"Welcome to your new home, Gwen. I hope you like it here after learning the new ways of the wold since you missed so many feats of technology." Christasia remarked, putting her suitcase on the side by the door, and then softly holding my hand as she pulled me up grand spiral stairs. I was led to a humongous second floor, only to be brought to a third one! Christasia stopped in front of a room, and dropped my bag of prized possessions on the side of the door. I looked at the double door frame, and grasped the two handles, pushing them open. It was like a flash of light. My new life started here, and how I would start to fit in.

This is the start of my future. My life.
