Chapter 20

Later that day, BTS called saying that they were going to come over so we rushed to clean up all the mess around the house and I locked myself in my room to pretend I was sick. I was laying in bed and trying to close my eyes when I heard the sound of the doorbell and the door being opened accompanied by the chatter of the boys. Their voices suddenly grew quieter and I suppose Jin told them I was at home and sick. I actually decided to get some sleep because there was nothing better to do.

I felt someone stroke my hair, waking me up. I smiled and settled into his touch as Jin crawled into the covers beside me and put his arm around me I cuddled closer to him, enjoying being his warm embrace.
"Did you have a nice sleep?" Jin's honey voice sounded in my ear.
"Yeah."
"I want to go for a drive. We've been at home all day, let's go out. I'll buy ice cream."
I sat up at the mention of ice cream.
"Really?"
"Yes. Get changed. Let's go to the beach."
"Let's go!!" I jumped out of bed in excitement and Jin quietly left the room, leaving me to get ready.

The beach was only half an hour from our house. Driving along the smooth roads by the cliff side felt amazing the sun was out, blessing all the flowers and plants and the light summer breeze blew through my hair. Jin handed me a pair of matching sunglasses and I stuck my hand out of the topless car.
"You can only stick your hand for a minute!"
"Okay!" I gave him a thumbs up and he silently shook his head.

We reached the beach in time for the sunset. The hues of orange and yellow had started to mix with the hues of blue as the sun was making it's way down. It was a perfect picture to paint, I used to love painting things like this. I remember my mama telling me that my ancestor used to draw pretty pictures of the king's castle. Maybe I gained my talents from her.
Jin slid his arms around my waist and we both watched until the sun went down and the pink twilight in the sky turn black and the tiny stars could be seen more clearer as they twinkled in the sky above.
I noticed a figure in the distance looking in our direction I turned my head to see if he was looking at something past us but when I turned back he had gone.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I thought someone was looking at us but I guess they were looking at someone else."
"It's okay...it's dark so no one can recognise us."
He trailed his fingers across my jawline and down to my neck and I laughed a little as it tickled me.
"Is that ticklish?" He teased.
"Yeah." I said after giggling.
He repeated the same action making me giggle even more. I bolted from his lap and ran away with him on my heels, laughing. I ran across the beach for a while before he picked me up and spun me around. We were a fit of giggles and we didn't even notice the flash.

The next day

Today, Jin and I decided to tell BTS about our relationship. They were coming to drop me off to school before they head to work. I was happily eating breakfast when I heard a knock on the door. I skipped to go and open the door.
"Seohyun! Are you feeling better?" I was greeted by the smiley face of Taehyung but no one else seemed to say much except for mumble greetings. What happened?  I lead them into the kitchen where they exchanged greetings with Jin before sitting down. I nodded to Jin and he cleared his throat grabbing the attention of the boys.
"Guys, we have something to tell you. SeoHyun and I-"
"Let me guess it's related to this." Namjoon slammed his ipad down and on it was written an article. It had the picture of us both on the beach yesterday and with the headline:
Sister or Mrs??
I stared at the article in shock. How? Barely anyone was there except....it must have been that person. The one that was staring at us earlier. Jin was speechless but didn't say anything.
"I knew you both had feelings for each other and we're not against it. We're not angry at the fact that you didn't tell us...but you could have been more careful!"
I ran up the stairs and slammed the door shut behind me before sinking down and trying to process the news.
